Desolate Mountain Range.

Lula's giant body laid there without moving while Monster Emperor squatted beside like he was enjoying a delicious dish.

Lula didn't expect that things would end up like that.

Each time Monster Emperor bit his meat, pain would strike him and it would make him feel pain that he had never felt before.

Slowly, Lula's screams became weaker and weaker and Monster Emperor was covered in wounds. Even if his body was riddled with 1,000 holes, he still continued to feed.

Finally, the screams disappeared.

In this desolate mountain rage, evil god ended up as the food and was being consumed by a human.

Monster Emperor was really fierce and amazing.

He could consume such a disgusting living being like the evil gods just like that.

He even looked like he was addicted to it.

One had to say that he was quite terrifying.

No one knew whether Monster Emperor was a human or a demon. But Monster Emperor never really seemed like a normal person.

Evil God revived from rage and his furious roars sounded throughout the deep abyss.

The roars were filled with terror.

He panicked when he thought about what Monster Emperor did to him.

Was that person even human?

But he died such a terrible death.

It was hard to forget such humiliation. Rage and hatred surged in his heart and he really wanted to swallow up that despicable fellow.

Lula didn't like to stay in the abyss as it was pitch black. There was no sound and no light. Nothing made him more comfortable as much as those small and miniscule blood food.

So, not long after reviving, Lula left the deep abyss and returned to what he was familiar with.

Monster Emperor's stomach was like a bottomless pit that consumed the body. Such a big corpse was totally swallowed by Monster Emperor in just a few hours.

“Tastes good and it helps to improve my deficiencies. But it is far from being perfect.”

Monster Emperor had his own thoughts. He wanted to fill up his deficiencies.

Those from Insect Valley wouldn't let him off and one day they would have to face off.

Monster Emperor was in deep thought.

He wanted to continue searching for evil gods but he didn't know where they were. He was able to find Lula because of that tentacle that he snatched. He followed the scent to track Lula.

Now that the target was dead.

“Eh?”

Suddenly, Monster Emperor's expression changed like something huge had occured.

“That aura appeared again.”

“Isn't it already dead?”

Monster Emperor was stunned. Such a thing was unbelievable for him to understand. It was hard for him to understand what the reason was.

“Maybe it's his brother.”

In the end, Monster Emperor found a reasonable answer to solve the doubts in his heart.

He searched for that aura.

What evil god Lula didn't know was that Monster Emperor had targetted him. He rushed over so as to eat more evil gods.

“This map is giving me a headache.” Lin Fan looked at the leather map in his hands. Truthfully, he couldn't really understand it but he could roughly guess bits. As for the exact situation, it really depended on whether or not the heavens would give him such a chance.

If he knew that this would happen he should have told Mo Fu to send someone familiar with the map to guide the way.

Unfortunately, to show off his own ability, he acted like he knew what he was doing.

He was currently in a forest.

Evil God's aura was still so dense.

But the leaves weren't green and they were a sort of grey. Looking out, it was as if one was in a grey colored world.

“This place doesn't seem like there are evil gods.”

Lin Fan sighed and was a little helpless. It was just too tough to find evil gods as they were really good at hiding. It made him really helpless. He didn't know when this whole matter would end or not.

Suddenly, with a xiu, something pierce through the sky.

This sound came from behind him. Listening to it, it sounded like something was being fired. But for Lin Fan, he had long ignored such thing.

Several sharp silver spears shot through the air.

When they were about to touch Lin Fan, an energy wall blocked it outside. It couldn't enter it at all and the momentum was lost. All of them just fell to the ground.

Lin Fan turned his head and noticed that several strings were shaking.

“Mechanisms?”

It shouldn't be an evil god that set up such mechanisms. After all, they were confident in their own strength, so why would they use such methods?

There were still people here?

Lin Fan was a little suspicious.

Who were these mechanisms targetted at?

Stop joking… He would rather believe that someone would try to tell jokes to the evil god to kill it from laughter than to believe that this would work.

Someone jumped off the branches and landed on the ground. He stepped onto the grey leaves and that gave out a crisp sound.

With his strength, as long as there were people around, they wouldn't be able to escape from his senses.

Very quickly, numerous people wearing weird dresses walked out from the darkness.

Lin Fan looked at these people and were a little curious.

They weren't strong and there was a huge gap between them and those of the City of Hope. Even Mock could fight a large bunch of them.

“I am sorry, I thought you were an evil god servant, so I used the mechanisms on you. Fortunately, you are fine, otherwise, I really wouldn't know what to do.”

A middle-aged man walked out. He was dressed differently from those of the City of Hope. It was made of some sort of vegetable like one had a cloth over the body but it was really colorful and looked good.

“It is fine.”

Lin Fan smiled and then said curiously, “You are from the 12 holy cities?”

The middle-aged man wanted to say something but he heard the holler from the distance. His expression changed and he said hurriedly, “Go, it is not time to speak. Those fellows are coming.”

Lin Fan raised his head. Evil God servant aura, it seemed like it was time for him to warm up. But from his actions, he seemed like he was someone who was terrified from the sudden occurence.

The middle-aged man pulled Lin Fan, “Leave, quickly leave.”

“Eh eh eh…” Lin Fan wanted to tell him that there was no need to and they should just watch him perform. But he saw their panicked expressions. He felt like if he didn't leave with them, they would pee their pants on the spot.

Lin Fan didn't say anything and just allowed the middle-aged man to pull him forwards.

A giant ancient tree appeared ahead. There were people waiting there. That person's lips were moving like he was chanting something. A whirlpool appeared like a door.

“Quick, let's go.” The guy chanting shouted towards them.

He was really anxious and he would raise his head to look into the distance. Although he couldn't see anything, the pressure got closer and closer.

Lin Fan was pulled in by the middle-aged man.

He suddenly realized that there was a space here. They were within a cave and the walls were lit up by flames, chasing the darkness away.

Everyone sat on the ground and panted.

“How dangerous, I didn't expect that we would be the patrolman.”

The middle-aged man pulling Lin Fan was a little terrified.

He looked towards Lin Fan and said, “Hello, I am Dao Ge, I am the captain here. Where did you come from? What is your name? Why did you come here?”

He asked many questions at once. He also looked at his comrades to tell them to pay attention.

After all, this was a dangerous time and he brought him back without being sure who he was.

If he had bad intentions, it would be a disaster for them.

Lin Fan raised his head and noticed that they were really wary, he smiled, “There is no need to be too nervous. I have no bad intentions towards all of you. I am just looking for evil gods, so I passed by this area.”

Talking about evil gods was like stepping on their tails; it made their hair stand on end.

Their gazes towards Lin Fan were filled with wariness. If they were worried about his identity before, they were even more worried now.

After all, this was related to the evil gods.

“Don't look at me like that. I really don't have bad intentions. I just want to kill the evil gods.” Lin Fan said.

Instantly, they were stunned. Someone couldn't help but burst into laughter.

He felt like that wasn't good so he stopped right away.

“I am sorry, I didn't think that you are joking but this is the first time I heard someone say that. Do you know what evil gods are? They are undead people. For us to be able to survive an attack from one is already really difficult. We have never thought about killing them.”

“That is okay. Normally when someone says something like that, no one would believe it. But why aren't you in the cities and are out here? I am familiar with Mo Fu from City of Hope. Do you know him?” Lin Fan asked.

Dao Ge nodded, “Yes, City of Hopes, Saint Hall Lord Mo Fu. But we are different from them; they use evil god's powers to fight the evil gods. But that power is not stable and if the evil god that loaned them powers changed sides one day, they won't be able to fight anymore.”

“We hide here, using the hard work of many to develop a new power. We are using the power to strengthen our bodies. Although the increase in strength is slow, one day we will become strong enough to fight against the evil gods.”

Wasn't this the same as their cultivation?

Not relying on evil god's power and strengthening one's own body. But they noticed this too late and didn't have a full system. They were just winging it and needed the hard work of numerous people from before them.

Lin Fan agreed with their ideals. Mo Fu and the others were borrowing a fictitious power and that wasn't reliable.

Suddenly, someone exclaimed in the cave.

“Who saw Little Gu Te? He isn't here.”

Instantly, everyone was stunned and started to search for him.

But quickly, someone shouted in panic.

“Little Gu Te is not here. Didn't he go out just now with all of you?”
