I feel like my eyes buldge out of my socket when I heard Wu Mei say that. I tried to deny it but words won't come out.

It seems like Tai Shui isn't convinced and then looks at me for confirmation. I shake my head sideways telling him that it's not true and try pleading through my eyes for him to help me out but I guess he has other plans. I saw him smirk and have an evil glint through his eyes.

'07 pick up my bones afterwards' (XR)

For the rest of the day Ru Lin and Tai Shui accompany us and throughout the day, Tai Shui and Wu Mei did not stop arguing over every little things while Ru Lin and I watch over the two. I can clearly see that Ru Lin is smitten with Wu Mei, so I asked him if he will pursue her but he did not seem to realise his feelings... Well at least until before I asked.

"Ru Lin do you like Wu Mei?" (XR)

"Eh?! L-Like Wu Mei?! I - I don't understand what you mean..." (RL)

"Huh? Don't understand? I mean I can see that you like her by the way you look at her..." (XR)

"W-What?!.... Was I that obvious (mumbles)" (RL)

"😅 Well you think about it first but if you need any help, just tell me and I'll try to help you out Ru Lin" (XR)

After that Ru Lin showed me his outstanding killer smile. Truly worthy of being the male lead in this story.

The day soon came to an end and to help Ru Lin out, I push him the task of bringing Wu Mei home safe and sound while I drag Tai Shui out of the picture of our main leads. Though Wu Mei was a bit reluctant and dissatisfied at first but she eventually agreed.

With that out group slip into two and we went our separate ways for the day, but wishing the day is already ended is just a wishful thinking because soon it is Tai Shui's time to interrogate me.
