Chapter 98.2 – Fusion

Shi Yuan turned his head and saw a mole person standing at the entrance of the tunnel. Her skeleton was small, she looked very thin, and her facial features were hideous, but she had a small yellow flower on her head.

She said hoarsely: “I will go with you and find other cities. Then, you can go back to the main city.”

Di Wen didn't answer.

Her gaze traveled through the long grass and over the hills until she reached the skyline where dark red and darkness intertwined. She saw all the ruins, the wilderness, the thin clouds, and the wandering and dark past of the Empire.

She was too old and thin, with gray hair, and she didn't seem to be able to bear the name “Kingslayer” at all, nor was she worthy of the heroic figure who “led the mole people to survive by herself.” She was like a piece of paper, which could be blown away by the wind at any time, just being alive was like a miracle.
