About two days later, my brother also came to the villa. It was while I was studying in my room.

“My Lady. Master Cross has arrived.”

To the butler’s report, Lilia only replied, “Yes.” She shook her head when Tina asked her if she was going to greet him.

A little while later, when it was almost time for lunch, Cross came into the room.

“Lilia. Are you there?”

I resisted the urge to say, “Don’t open the door without knocking,” and smiled at my brother.

“Yes, I’m here. You’ve arrived early, my brother.”

“What’s this?”

My brother shows me a piece of paper. I don’t need to see it to know. It was a document that I put together. I knew he would come to ask about it, but I didn’t expect him to come so soon.

“I thought the documents in the study were very difficult to read, so I put them together for you.”

“Don’t be selfish.”

At her brother’s words, Lilia bowed her head meekly. Her brother was probably right about this. Even though they were family, it was not something that Lilia could do on her own.

“I’m sorry, brother. I want to go to Tina’s parents’ house as soon as possible.”

“Shall I ask why?”

“I just want her to see her family as soon as possible.”

Tina’s eyes widened and she looked at Lilia. Pretending not to notice it, she continued speaking with her brother.

“You missed me too, didn’t you?”

I asked him with a mischievous smile. I was expecting a look of disgust, but my brother nodded several times with a satisfied expression.

“I understand. Then I’ll make it quick too. Yes, I’ll finish it in two days.”

With that, her brother left the room. Lilia froze with a silly look on her face at the unexpected reaction while Tina was holding back her laughter.

“You see?”

Lilia looked embarrassed and reluctant, and resumed her studies as if to deceive her.

S–Your brother is the same type as Lilia.

L–What do you mean?

When Lilia said this without hiding her displeasure, Sakura let out a squeal of amusement and fell silent.

“I didn’t realize Lilia was doing that. Thank you, Lilia.”

Tina happily took Lilia’s hand and thanked her.

“I didn’t do it for you. I only did it because I wanted to.”

S–Yeah. I’m sure your brother and Lilia are the same.

L–I’m going to be angry.

She escaped from Tina’s hands and left the room as if she was running away, saying she was going to get a drink.

Her brother finished his work at the villa in two days as he had declared. It was an unpleasant miscalculation for Lilia, who had not been able to get to know the servants very well.

S–There are still opportunities for you. Don’t be hasty.

L–Yes…….That’s right.

Forcing herself to agree with Sakura’s words, Lilia carried the luggage away. A maid noticed her on the way and hurriedly came to pick up the luggage.

“Thank you.”

The maid who received the package rolled her eyes in surprise, shook her head awkwardly, and ran to the door. Perhaps it was because there were only a few of us, but things were a little hectic this morning. The departure was suddenly decided this morning, so it was natural.

L–My brother doesn’t have a plan either.

S–Ahaha. Lilia helped him, so he’s more motivated than ever.

L–I don’t know.

When I walked out into the yard, I found two carriages ready for me. I could tell that they were the ones my brother had ridden in, but for some reason, both carriages were being prepared. I asked the two guards who were preparing the carriages what was going on, and they told me that one of the carriages was for returning to the city.

“Oh my. I thought you were coming with us.”

“Yes. That’s what I was thinking but I heard that Ray has to go back.”

A little surprised, she looked for Ray and saw that he was talking about something with her brother. As Lilia walked towards them, Ray immediately noticed her and smiled.

“You’re leaving, aren’t you?”

“Yes. Um…….”

Ray checked his surroundings and gently put his mouth to Lilia’s ear.

“I’ve heard that my family is here. I can’t make them wait for long, so I’m going back.”

“I’m sure you’ll be fine, since you have guards and Ray seems to be able to fight.”

“Thanks for worrying about me.”

It seemed that they were ready, and the two guards’ loud voices called out for Ray. Ray gave a small sigh and ran to the carriage.

L–The family must be the royal family of Claviles. I wonder what they’re doing here.

S–I’m sure it wasn’t anything too important. They’re here for the First Prince and a few other big names.

L–You know a lot.

S–Well, this is……….

Sakura replied, slurring her words. Apparently it’s something she can’t say, or something she’s not comfortable saying. I knew that she wouldn’t answer even if I pried, so I decided to give up.
