After that, the players were to find out about the conflict between Director Locke and Harley. From there on, the players would have to find a way to arrest Director Locke and acquire the evidence with Harley's help.

However, the players were under surveillance due to the fact that Young Master Lin and the other two had alerted the Umbrella Corporation in the first place, causing the head of the research center to inform Director Locke about the issue. This had placed the guard bureau on the opposing side, meaning it wouldn't have worked from the beginning; this undoubtedly had caused the second method to be cut off.

However, fortunately, Feng Luo had some Scout Beetles with him. Therefore, he had retrieved some important information through scouting at both the guard bureau and the rehabilitation center. This had made up for the two crucial links, allowing them to complete the mission via a "shortcut."

The missions in War really were this special. The difficulty of the important tasks would not necessarily be tough. Rather, they would be affected by a variety of factors such as the player's actions and NPC's emotions in the completion of the actual mission, which made it possible for a "shortcut" to occur.

Feng Luo took the Desert Eagle out and used tweezers to extract the bullets one at a time from the bullet box, filling up the Desert Eagle's magazine.
