Evolution Theory of the Hunter Chapter 161

Kyle: I finished the training camp like place and arrived at the place I will actually be spending the next year and a half. It turns out that there are computers here which in turn means that I can continue translating. Woot! Since I have to work most of the time the translation progress will be irregular but I am hoping and estimating that I will be able to translate about 2 chapters a week but that remains to be seen. In any case, since I can't access the site due to army security issues the chapters will hopefully be uploaded by Joon sometime at night on Sunday. I hope that everyone will continue reading this novel once more. Thank you.

J: Well…. I forgot to post this for a while, but hey, I have exams. Now, Kyle will most likely translate 2 chapters a week as he said above, but I will not necessarily be able to post them the day he does them. I will at least try to do so once a week. Only this one for this week, though.

An Gyu-bum hugged his own body with his arms.

"Did you tail me?"

"Not as far as tailing, just following around."

"You're dead if there's no proper reason."

"You dare!"

Jeon Min-jeong who was stuck next to An Gyu-bum like a shadow took a step forward.

"I will make it so that you can't use that mouth of yours anymore if you take another step forward."

"Urg."

She put a hand on the handle of her sword but she couldn't draw it.

It's Alaska if it's Alaska and Arctic if it's Arctic so what the hell is Alaska Arctic Bear but then again the name depends on the person naming.

It's the reason why there are monsters with scientific names while others have weird names.

Either way, a level 10 monster itself didn't pose a problem.

I won against a Black Tiger before and I'm incomparably stronger than that time after all.

But the story is a bit different if there are two of them.

It looked similar to Edward's Shadow Conversion.

A trail of black light cut the arctic bear's body.

However, the attack got deflected as it got blocked by the bear's leather.

It was interesting how it was an attack carried out while etherized but it was meaningless with such low damage.

Dozens, no, hundreds of slashes rained down on the arctic bear in an instant.

It was an attack that looked like a a comet of black light was falling. An amount of attacks that I found difficult to follow with my eyes poured down.

In the end the arctic bear let out a roar mixed with pain and swung its front paw towards An Gyu-bum.

It met the New Alaskan chilly wind and fluttered away as it became a red blizzard.

The monster's body that got split in half collapsed to the left and right.

I was hoping an item would drop if possible but it was an ore this time around.

Seeing how it's a name I heard for the first time it seems it's a level 10 Exotic Matter.

I decided to inspect the details later and looked towards the other monster.

The monster that barely managed to break free from the collapsed entrance was running towards me while stomping the ground.

I considered taking care of it using the same method as before but decided to go with close combat this time.

To be honest, the one just now was quite a lucky case. It was just staring at me, waiting for me to fall down after all. If it could use its head even a bit it wouldn't have let itself be hit by such an attack.

Also, monsters weren't idiots. They're not normal beasts either.

It would have seen its friend get severed in a single strike so it probably won't get hit by it.

I let out a light sigh as I cleaned my face with the sleeve of my clothes. Would Soo-ah have tried to clean my face frivolously if she had been here?

As I stared at him his face crumpled up.

"That girl. Doing something pointless."

Either way, it wasn't bad that someone was caring for me. I wiped the blood on my face and body and threw away the towel on the ground. There's probably no need to go through the trouble of using it again after washing.

"I see you're slowly becoming a greater monster."

"You're originally a monster though."

"I think that's a racist remark."

"It's not a race but species discrimination."

"Either side is bad."

Edward said so with a straight face. He's a guy that doesn't know humor.
