Two hours later with several bags in tow, Xun Yanwu could finally let out a sigh of relief. His nemesis was done with her shopping and he was free to go his separate way.

"Yanwu darling, you know you are dropping me home right?!"

"Ofcourse, Miss Veronica! I'll drive you to your house."

The secretary of Zheng Shanyu gave a stiff smile, he wanted to get the whole thing over with and return to the office.

"You don't mind staying for dinner, do you? I'm sure little brother doesn't mind."

"Why would your brother care, as long as you rub it in his face that you came out from your mother's womb first! He certainly would kiss the ground you walk to retain his rights as Chairman!"

Without saying what was going through his mind, Xun Yanwu opened the boot of the car to dump all the shopping bags that lined his arms like clothes on hangers.

The drive back to Zheng Zhi's place was full of empty chatter, with Xun Yanwu grimacing silently. Eventually the car pulled into a modern home of charcoal gray.

"Yanwu, let me help you take them in."

The pretty sister of Zheng Shanyu got out to take some of the shopping bags with her inside.

At a loss for what to say, Xun Yanwu allowed her to do as she wanted with the two of them bringing so much stuff with them.

On getting in, Xun Yanwu appeared unaffected by the lavish display of wealth by his boss's sister.

"Just lay them on the couch, I'll sort them out tomorrow morning! Do you want anything to eat, Yanwu?"

Pretty dark eyes stared at dark cool ones. 

"I'm okay, Miss Veronica. You don't have to get me anything."

"Alright, suit yourself! Wait for me, let me go freshen up before seeing you out!"

With that, Zheng Zhi walked off towards a room down the hallway.

"Freshen up?! Why don't you do that after I'm gone, you pervert!"

Muttering under his breath, Xun Yanwu remained on his feet for Zheng Zhi to return.

Fifteen minutes later, a lanky devilishly handsome man with toned abs wore a dark slacks and walked barefooted into the sitting room.

"Is that you? Zheng Zhi?!"

Unable to keep the shock at witnessing the dark secret of the Zheng family, Xun Yanwu spoke without carefully choosing his words.
