In a small cozy cafe, sat a woman who wore a casual white dress made for the summer heat. Her black loosely curled hair wrapped around her thin shoulders. As she rested her chin on her hand with her leg crossed over the other.

She sat in the corner with a table to herself, and it was also the quietest spot too. It was as if she knew the best place to sit in the cafe for the best view, which she did. 

Whenever she nervously tuck her loose curls behind her ear, her bangles will hit each other. Resembling the sound of her jumble up feeling as she waits for the arrival of that person. 

The doors to the cafe cling. There, walked in two men whose presence was able to capture the heart of many. They were the faces of someone who will break many hearts. Captured all except for the one they really one to trap. She didn't turn her attention towards them but was lost in her own thoughts.

"Will you stop starting already?" Lu Weisheng muttered under his breath and gave Yang Zheyan a little nudge from the back. 

Yang Zheyan snapped back, "Who was staring."

The ladies in the cafe giggled when Yang Zheyan walked passed them. He did not once look at them, nor did they catch his attention either. The person he wanted to see was right in front of him. Only a few more steps away. 

"Hi, are you alone? Would you mind if I join you?"

Before Yang Zheyan got to Xiong Jingfei, another person already made his move first. 

Xiong Jingfei broke out of her thoughts. She looked up to find a random man asking her if he can sit down. She would have nodded yes, but there were plenty of empty tables left. Around this time of the day and in this part of the city, there is usually no one here. 

She knows because she is a regular customer of this cafe. Her apartment was only three buildings away from this place. When she discovered how lovely this cafe was, it became her haven for writing. She actually became the cafe VIP.

Xiong Jingfei gave him a polite smile and began writing on her tablet to deny his request. She didn't want to engage in any conversation with anyone. They will just leave her eventually after they find out she can't talk. Just as she finished writing and about to flash her rejection. A shadow engulfed her petite body and took the words from her. 

"That seat is taken." 

The stranger turned to look at the person standing next to Xiong Jingfei. He was tall, wore a clean black suit, and had a warm smile that brought you to heaven. The smile made you felt safe until you take a look at his eyes. It was somewhat chilling to your bones. As if you were stuck between heaven and hell. 

"Go. Go on." Yang Zheyan smile began to spread a little wider and warmer. He didn't move an inch from his spot next to Xiong Jingfei. However, his aura of dominance became stronger every second the stranger didn't back off. 

"O-oh, okay..." The stranger shivered before awkwardly walking away. He was sort of confused about what exactly happened. It was like he was waiting for Yang Zheyan's command before walking away. His words were magically, and if you disobeyed, there would be severe consequences. 

A burst of light laughter filled with amusement came right afterward. Lu Weisheng tried to control himself by putting his hand on Yang Zheyan's shoulder. Under muffled laughter, he said, "How dare he be scared of that angelic smile of yours? Mm?"

Yang Zheyan took a side glance at Lu Weisheng before rolling his shoulders to remove his hand off him. He stared down at Xiong Jingfei, and she immediately dropped that pleasant smile she had on for a stranger. Instead, it turned into a scorning expression. 

He was taken off guard when Xiong Jingfei suddenly stood up. She stuck out her hand in front of him, as a sign she wanted her drawing back. She wasn't planning on sticking around for long. 

Yang Zheyan smiled, his real smile from the bottom of his heart. She looked like a child asking for candy and was upset because he didn't give her any. He was planning on giving it back once they met officially. Unfortunately, his plans weren't going the way he wanted it to. Since he was still stuck bearing Lu Weisheng's identity. 

So, he feigned ignorance in what she wanted. Instead, he grabbed her hand, and in a loud voice, he announced to everyone, "Darling~, I didn't know you were so eager to hold my hand! Come, sit down. Your legs must've hurt from standing way too long."

Hurt? She literally just got up from her seat, was what everyone was saying on the inside. 

Being taken by surprise by his outrageous outburst, Xiong Jingfei was somehow put back in her seat by him. While Yang Zheyan sat down comfortably next to her. His ever so radiant smile remained on his face, but hints of humor were visible in his eyes. 

"Next time, you can take me by my hand without having to ask for permission. There is nothing to hide anymore between us. We've seen each other... Every. Thing."
