In this world, there was no such thing as love or hatred without cause or reason.

Litchi somehow warned and helped Su Bai, but that was only because his mother was so kind. The elfin enhancer pulled out the arrow; this time he didn't put it onto his bow but directly stuck it into Su Bai's shoulder. Su Bai quivered and kneeled down. But next, he grabbed the elfin enhancer's legs and pulled with mighty and main. The enhancer fell onto the ground and Su Bai immediately rushed onto him.

"Plop!"

Unexpectedly, the enhancer still had a small knife made of iron sheet. Apparently, he was skillful and professional in wrestling and fighting such that he could face danger without panic. And he was quick, the sharp knife went right into Su Bai's neck and made him scream hoarsely because of the pain.

However, to the enhancer's surprise, despite the multiple injuries over Su Bai's body, he seemed to have become stronger and stronger. Then he saw Su Bai's scarlet eyes and the fangs growing out of his mouth. Finally, he figured out what was going on, but it was too late. If he had gotten a second chance, he would never let Su Bai have the chance to approach himself.

He did go too far from the cabin. He continued to hide himself in another slope with a stick in his mouth. When the pain came, he bit the stick to distract himself. After his clothes were all wet with his sweat, he spat out the stick which was almost broken.

The blood bead was indeed very effective. He recovered much faster, and was now much more vigorous and energetic.

He put everything in front of him and waited for a second round. They must be searching in small groups. As long as he didn't have to face more than three enemies at one time, he was sure he could handle it.

Suddenly, a rustling sound came from one side.

Su Bai immediately grabbed the javelin with his own blood still on it. He was not very fast, but almost soundless.

In this moment, Su Bai felt as if his heartbeats were echoing the wind around him. He was patiently searching for his prey like a bat lurking in the darkness.

"Good boy, come to mommy."

All of a sudden, Su Bai heard a soft voice.

Next, he realized that everything around him had changed; it became warm, cozy and relaxing. In front of him, an old lady stretched out her arms as if she was going to hug him.

Su Bai stood up and walked to the old lady.

"I'm starving. Good boy, let me drink your blood, will you?"

"Yes, I will."

Su Bai answered stiffly. Then he took out the knife, cut his wrist open and let his blood drip.

"Come on, good boy. Give me your arm. I'm starving. You're such a good boy."

Su Bai handed over his wound to the old lady's mouth. She immediately started drinking his fresh blood. She was gulping fast and looking at Su Bai with an amiable tender look, offering him insinuation and encouragement.

Su Bai was smiling all the time, sincerely and satisfied.

However, if someone was nearby, he or she might see a bloody leech, as large as a grown man's palm, attached to Su Bai's arm and stretching its mouthparts into his flesh from his wound.

"Gurgle… gurgle…"

The sound of her drinking blood was quite clear, with a desperate awful rhyme.

Su Bai was wizening as if he was several years older. Surely enough, he would become a lifeless mummy.

But he himself felt nothing. He was still smiling.

The bloody leech was growing bigger and bigger as a balloon, and redder and redder all along. The wrinkles on its skin were clear, like the hideous face of an old woman.

However, just when Su Bai's life was about to end like this, and he had almost become a skinny mummy, two dark flames lit up in his eyes…

In the last story world, Su Bai got ptomaine and cold toxin from Nona's blood. Luckily, he accomplished the task in time and when he left, the Dreadful Radio helped him as always. It repressed both ptomaine and cold toxin therefore Su Bai remained a vampire as a whole, but right now, almost all the blood inside Su Bai's body was drawn out.

His ptomaine and clod toxin…
