Yang Xiu brought only two guards with him; the rest waited outside the hall. Even in hostile territory, Mr. Yang Xiu didn't seem the least bit nervous, as relaxed as if he was visiting a neighbor.

“The servants should be helping the Female Monarch dress and prepare,” said Lady Kong Tong.
