I think you’ll finally see that MSQ’s relationship with Qi Rui (or the Qi’s family in general) started to get better now. It reminded me how she would be teasing her older brother during her modern life too. Honestly, three years is a long time for not seeing her brother or anybody. Granted this happened because Bai Yi Fan’s soul went to MSQ’s body so it was definitely a more difficult and complicated situation. But I remembered when I didn’t see my older brother for four years (coz he was studying in US), even though we were always closed when we were back home, it took a while for us to actually get to know each other again when we saw each other again in US. Whether we realized it or not, we did change within those four years that he had never come home. It’s part of growing up…
