"Cedric, take Nana and run like hell to try and reach him!" Lumi cried.

"Claudia and I will stay here and hold them off!" She shouted.

"Alright, as much as I don't want to do this..." The professor began.

Slowly his wings began to spread and take form.

"Get ready for takeoff, Nana!" He cried, as they took off from the ground.

Nana clung tightly to him.

"A TRAITOR!?" A man cried.

"WHAT IS A GUARD TO THE ROYAL FAMILY DO-"

The professor swooped down, kicking the man in the face.

"Sorry, I don't owe the likes of you an explanation!" The professor shouted.

Back towards the front, Lumi and Claudia were fighting off the horde of angry citizens.

Claudia, busy using her scarf as a weapon, while Lumi used her pipe.

"How much longer do you think we can hold them off!?" Claudia cried.

"We'll just have to do our best until Cedric reaches him!" Lumi shouted back, holding someone back with her pipe.

"You'll never reach our chosen one!" One citizen cried.

"What are you..."

"LUMI WATCH OUT!" Claudia screamed, her scarf grabbing the arm of a man ready to swing at her.

"Claudia, thank you..." Lumi panted, with a smile.

All Luci could do was watch from his throne as his friends tried desperately to reach him.

"Dia..." He began.

"Mmm...?" Dia mumbled, looking at her nails.

"Earlier, when one of the guards addressed me, you-"

"What, I had to speak up for you, dummy." Dia huffed.

"No, it's just..." He narrowed his eyes.

"I can't help but wonder if you're the one who the crown fits..." He looked up at her.

Dia quickly turned to him.

"What are you-"

"Here," he began, taking the crown off his head, placing it on top of hers.

"There, it suits you much better." He chuckled.

Dia stared up at him.

"Is this what you truly want, big brother...?" She whispered.

"You'd really give up power just to live a peaceful, content life on earth...?" She questioned.

She then closed her eyes smiling.

"Geez, you're right..." She began.

"You aren't meant for the throne in the slightest dummy..." She smiled softly.

"You're much too soft, brother..." She whispered, as tears filled her eyes.
