Chapter 8

Flashback scene – The empress dowager (ED) visited Ling Fei’s (LF) mum. The ED discussed with LF’s mum about LF being Na Lam’s (NL) empress. LF’s mum didn’t want LF to enter the imperial harem because LF’s mum wanted LF to live a long simple life that LF’s dad didn’t get to live (end of flashback scene).

At the palace Xiao Shun Tu (XST) asked NL where he wanted to sleep that night. NL said he wanted to sleep in a different bedchamber. XST advised NL that it wasn’t a good idea, but NL said he’s the emperor and he could sleep in any palace bedchamber.

Chapter 9

XST escorted NL to a bedchamber NL thought was vacant, but XST explained it was occupied by Wan Shi Pan (WSP). WSP’s dream was being NL’s empress.

XST announced NL’s arrival, and WSP asked XST to send the maids and eunuchs outside the bedchamber. WSP was naked Eve style on the bed. Her long hair covered her chest and cave.

‘Why are you naked?’ NL asked.

‘Your majesty, I’m here to serve you,’ WSP said.

‘Are you Minister Wan Li Cheng’s daughter?’ NL asked indifferently.

‘Yes your majesty,’ WSP said.

WSP waited a year to see NL. If she had to wait longer for NL to bed her, she would become old and sent to the cold palace.

‘You’re a lot older than me,’ NL said. ‘Who’s the blind person that selected you to enter the imperial harem?’

‘Your majesty, I’m only eighteen,’ WSP said.

‘You’re three years older than me,’ NL said.

‘Your majesty, age isn’t a problem,’ WSP said. ‘I’ve been trained to serve you.’

‘I’m not interested in old women,’ NL said. ‘You can leave.’

WSP knelt on the bed and rubbed her body against NL’s thigh.

‘What are you doing?’ NL asked. ‘You’re not allowed to touch me!’

It was love at first sight for WSP. She grabbed NL’s hand, and put his hand on her chest.

‘Your majesty, can you feel my heart beating for you?’ WSP asked.

NL took back his hand.

‘You dare defy my order?’ NL asked.

Chapter 10

‘Your majesty, let me serve you,’ WSP pleaded. ‘After tonight, your majesty will become a man. Your majesty, you have nothing to fear.’

‘Who said I’m scared?’ NL asked.

‘Your majesty, isn’t scared of heaven or earth,’ WSP said. She kissed NL’s neck. ‘I love your majesty.’

NL pushed WSP away from him.

‘Your majesty, you’re too rough,’ WSP said.

‘XST!’ NL called.

XST ran into the bedchamber.

‘Your majesty, I’m here,’ XST said. ‘WSP, what are you doing?’

‘XST, take her back to where she came from!’ NL demanded.

‘Your majesty…’ WSP called.

‘Maids, take WSP away,’ XST ordered.

Two palace maids took WSP away.

‘Your majesty, if you’re not satisfied with WSP, I can call Ha Ka,’ XST said.

‘What’s wrong with you?’ NL asked. ‘Why do I want to see that ugly girl?’

‘Your majesty, tell me who you want to serve you?’ XST asked.

‘Bring your ear closer to me,’ NL said.

‘Yes your majesty,’ XST said.

‘Find me a snake,’ NL said.

‘Your majesty, what if you get bitten?’ XST asked.

‘Go find me a snake!’ NL said.

XST ordered eunuchs to find a snake and put it in a bag.

‘Your majesty, what do you want to do with the snake?’ XST asked.

‘I want to visit the empress bedchamber tonight,’ NL said.
