I waited for Lucyfer to make a move, but she didn't budge an inch, all she was doing was looking at me.

"Well then, we'll be playing some games, just seeing how good you are, now pick one," Lucyfer said quickly.

She then swiped her hand in the air and a small blue board appeared, the board then floated towards me, stopping at eye reading distance. I took a look at was on the blue board. The board was filled with events that were just for comparison. I took a look at them and decided on one, the one I chose was called

I looked up at Lucyfer to see that she was snorting like she was trying to hold a laugh in.

"What's so funny!?" I yelled at her.

"You have chosen the worst one,

"Well then, if I get you halfway down, I want a bit more respect please,"

"Sure whatever you say,"

"Now… Let's get started on this game,"

Afterwards, the blue board split into two, the other one went to Lucy. The board changed again to say

I said yes and the board disappeared. As soon as the board disappeared, the area Lucyfer and I were standing in started to change, the trees around us started to decay at an alarming rate. As the trees became a black mess, I jumped down to the ground, dodging them.

After the trees were gone, the ground was black with the stench of a rotten corpse. The trees around the decayed area then started to grow. As I looked at the growth, the unpleasant smell started to fade. After the trees pierced the clouds, the smell was gone and I was ready to fight.

I looked at Lucyfer to attack but noticed that there was a green bar above her head with some white letters which I couldn't read. I activated my elf eyes to see the words, and they were what I expected. It was a health points bar, it seems that the game aimed to turn your opponent's health points zero. I looked back at Lucyfer and asked her a question.

"You ready?" I asked her.

"Ready when you're ready," She replied.

"Then let the battle begin,"

Lucyfer then had a massive smile on her face. I braced myself for the worst of what she could do. Lucyfer then put her index and middle finger and started to breathe fire like how she did with Drayme.

I immediately put my air source in my legs and ran. I was able to get away from the fire but tripped. I was able to regain my footing quickly and then called my incarnate weapon. This time it appeared as two small shields, each one on either arm. I rushed towards Lucyfer ready to defend at any moment for incoming attacks, as I got into a dangerous distance. I created some icicles and threw them at her, making sure I could get close.

Lucyfer made a ball of fire and melted the icicles, I jumped when she wasn't looking and hit her with my tail. She took the hit and jumped back, she ignited another fireball and sent it my way. I guarded it with one of my shields and sent it back, but Lucyfer wasn't scared. She put up her hand and the fireball was absorbed.

"You see Dynestar, my soul ability is flame absorption, there's nothing you can do by reflecting my attacks," Lucyfer snorted.

"Tch," I replied with.

I had to think of what I could do next, but unfortunately, my blood sacrifice would take away my strength, I had to rely on my physical skills for most of the fight. That would mean that I had to be careful, Lucyfer would've been quite powerful as well.

I activated my elf eyes to take in every detail she made. I then made another two icicles and infused them with my air source. I then repeated the same process, throwing them at her, but I threw them in different directions. Lucyfer cut through one, but the other impaled her shin.

I looked at her health bar to see that it read <80/100>, I was surprised by how much I've already dealt, but my health was at <90/100>. I had to be careful, otherwise, I'd end up not dealing with another attack. I shook my head and discarded the thought, I had to finish this quick and easy. I jumped when Lucyfer was grasping her knee in pain and knocked her on the head, I then clutched my left hand and tried to punch her. She recovered and grabbed my arm, proceeding to punch me in the chest.

I was knocked back by the force of the blow by about seven metres, coughing up blood as well. I regained myself and looked at her health. She was now <70/100>, but I looked at mine to see that I was also <70/100>.

One thing which had me at an advantage now is that I have some blood to work with. I smirked at Lucyfer, before thinking of a blood sacrifice before she attacked. I started to dodge her attacks thinking of what I should do. After I received another five health points taken off me, I got an idea.

I had one shot to activate my idea since I needed my blood on Lucyfer. There was one thing I noticed whilst playing around with blood sacrifice ability, the harder the ability, the less blood is needed to activate. I already knew what it should be, but getting close to Lucyfer was going to be hard.

I concealed my instincts deep inside of me and focused on her. I put all of my air source into my legs and some of my water source at the bottom of my feet. I started to run at Lucyfer, keeping an eye on her hands. As soon as I was halfway there, she raised her hand and a purple fireball was thrown towards me.

I blocked it with my shield and touched Lucyfer, knowing that my plan is complete I jumped back. As I landed I accidentally slid but got back up, this was due to the water source in my feet. As I regained my balance, I could now end the battle in one attack. I was just ready to attack again, but Lucyfer started to speak.

"Haha, that purple flame has sealed your fate, you shouldn't have touched that," Lucyfer yelled at me.

I simply smiled and replied:

"Well then, it's the same for you,"

Lucyfer looked at me with a confused expression, but she wiped the expression off just as fast. We both braced for the final fight, so focused that nothing could take us out of it. Lucyfer opened her wings and jumped high, gliding towards me. I braced my arm and jumped as well, about to collide. Time felt that it stood still, but we both knew that it would end at any moment.

I aimed my left arm at her right-wing and she scorched my back. As both of us collided, we both stopped. A bright light above us appeared, the word was…

The next thing I remember was waking up at the cafe feeling nauseous. I stumbled out of my chair and threw up on the floor. As I got back up, I looked back at the table to see many shocked faces. Lucyfer probably told them about the match, I was surprised as well of how well I did.

"What did you do?" Lucyfer questioned me loudly.

"I activated my blood sacrifice, that if my left arm touched your right-wing, your heart would stop," I replied.

"Suit yourself, we've gotten enough data on that fight anyway,"

"You were monitoring me?"

"Yes,"

I didn't think of it that much. But the game was a draw, it seemed like I could defeat Lucyfer if I gave it my all.
