Likewise, if one has talent in say, Earth Dao, they can easily obtain a lot of benefits if they concentrated on the Dao of the Earth and its intricacies.

By trying to grasp insights into everything, a cultivator would become mediocre in everything. This would also delay their progress in cultivation.
