Iris pov
As I watched the jet land on the runway in the house, I felt nauseous knowing that I was going to spend my remaining year in high school in America more specifically in Las Vegas also known as "the Sin City" the place where my whole life was ruined. My cousin Edward had been at home for the past two weeks since he found out I was coming to Las Vegas and him being here is the only thing i am looking forward to in Las Vegas and hopefully with him here it will be better.

For the next two weeks I didn't leave the house because I was very nervous about going to school and Edward decided that I had to go to school the next day being Monday and we had a very long argument about which I lost. So tomorrow I am going back to school. Sorry I've been ranting without introducing myself my name is Elena Iris Valdez, my father is the richest man in Europe and one of the richest in the world so it is expected of me to be the best because my father is the best and I am mindful of my behavior so right from birth I was groomed to be the perfect heiress and I was the perfect heiress and daughter until the "incident" that changed my life forever.
Today is the day I go to school, Edward and I went to school and the moment I walked in to the school I felt so many eyes on me and I was nervous about the amount of attention I was getting which is weird because I was trained to be in the spotlight. Edward took me to the principals' office where his secretary gave me my schedule. I met Edward at his locker which was thankfully next to mine.

The pleasure is mine. So how do you like Demonco high school and being here in Vegas

Surprising, classes before lunch were uneventful apart from the occasional staring which was annoying, I had first period with Edward and third period with Ben but the rest of my classes before lunch were alone, but I was meeting them at the cafeteria. The moment I entered I spotted them at a table with four other people I think he (Edward) saw me because he walked towards me and dragged me to sit with them.

We talked till it was time for classes. After school Edward dropped me off at home and left saying he had business to attended to.
The past few weeks were uneventful until a month before spring break something unexpected happened. There were this group of students who when they passed by the other students bowed down to them and they even called one of them Alpha (who I later learnt his name was Alexander) and the other one Beta (whose names was Eric) and it was kinda weird because I had History with them but I have never talked to any of them but anyway back to the story our History teacher didn't come so it was a free period, so I was going through my email when I noticed a shadow or shadows looming over me and I looked up and met two pairs of baby blue eyes belonging to a blond and brunette.

Alex Pov
I saw her for the first time when she stepped out of the car with that leech called Edward and it all of my will power not to rip everyone who looked at her. She is mine and even though my wolf didn't like Edward he still respected the fact that he protected from all the guys who wanted to get between her legs. I had only History with her and it was frustrating not being able to see her and hold her every time but I didn't want to scare her so I tried my best to avoid her.
My wolf didn't like the fact that our mate was not with us, so he took his anger out on the pack members. It was so bad that my sister and friends had to sit me down to ask me what was wrong and I told them and they promised to help.
My sister Tiana and her best friend Emily normally threw parties and invited some of her friends from school who were not part of the pack and she thought she thought she would extended the invitation to Iris but she declined saying something about having dinner with her dad, I didn't know if she was lying or telling the truth but I was sad when she declined. Xavier (my wolf) was whimpering in my head saying mate doesn't want us and it was annoying.
Am sorry Alex we tried but she said had dinner plans.

Ds and the last one she got when she was 13.It also says here she doesn't have the best of health and she doesn't have the best relationship with her father. She hasn't seen him since she was 13. Damn she's' hot.

We looked at her pictures and he was right she way hotter than she looks in school but most of her pictures where with Edward and I didn't like it.

I felt bad about not going to the party even though I didn't have dinner with my father but in my defense, I didn't know any of them and Edward seems to be disappearing because I haven't seen him in weeks and he doesn't even answer his calls.
During History class, our teacher assigned us to patterns for a project to do a research on any historic event we feel that relates to us and funny enough my pattern was Alexander Demonco and we had to sit beside our patterns for the rest of the school year.

I didn't know how long I stood there staring at the door he walked out from, I didn't even snap out from my daze as the doorbell. I opened the door and saw Alexander standing and I was shocked
