Chapter 7 - First Fight in this World

After he died I hid his body while cleaning any excess blood that could be seen with the door open, and nobody saw me as they were all watching the people enter and go out of the pod. After I cleaned all the traces of him off me and the bed I walked out to the back of the building.

Trying my best not to look suspicious I walked to the back of the building and told the system to withdraw my reward.

Suddenly my eyes felt pain but not as much as before just comparable to having a small fracture which I didn’t even wince at as I had expected somewhat this time. After a few seconds, the pain disappeared and I walked around the building and back into the crowd.

I didn’t notice any change at first but when I focused in on the protagonist I noticed something.

Looking at his talents it would seem that he would be at the stronger end of the protagonists.

Looking at the current situation I thought I had a current overview of what the quests were going to be. However, I still chose to open the quests as I wasn’t omnipotent and in this world, these choices could lead to death.

{ Dominate your island by ruling everybody and those that don’t well you know what to do.

“System, the third quest seems easy as I could just kill everyone but how do I kill the protagonist, didn’t you say it was nearly impossible.”

{ Host there are multiple ways to kill the protagonists, however, they are all really hard and the easiest one requires you to take the protagonist's opportunities or destroy them which would make the protagonist's luck go down and eventually make you able to kill them. }

Noticing something in the quest I asked, “Wait, System why are giving me a talent didn’t you say that you didn’t support me?”

{ Host I was testing you because although this is a job that requires you to go through the hardest word and the most blood and tears but has the most potential. After all, I couldn’t choose a host with only enough potential to become a God because remember hosts on other continents people don’t have talents and there is a reason for that. }

I accepted that answer although I wasn’t satisfied with it but I knew I couldn’t do anything about it, when suddenly someone shouted.

“Everybody lets all have a tournament to decide the leader and focusing up on him I realised why he was saying that.”

Looking at his build and his talent I realised that he was way faster than but what can a fast man do when he can’t damage?

Suddenly he started to challenge random people and he wasn’t losing against anyone until he met me.

I walked onto the made-up ring with a confident expression and started taunting him by telling him to come towards him. He smiled and started running towards me with unimaginable speed that could probably beat Usain Bolt but as he reached and tried to kick I grabbed his legs and he wasn’t fast enough to respond to the situation which was probably due to the fact that my reaction time was faster than his and the moment I caught onto his legs I used that speed to topple him over and put him on the ground, defeating him in one move.

Afterwards, the rest of the contestants like our protagonists were either trash or had talents that bloomed afterwards so I took over the camp soon after and got a notice of everybody’s loyalty signalling they were all my subordinates. However, as soon as it was night I put my hood on and started murdering anyone with bad intentions and you could tell that due to the fact that their loyalty was below 50 or friendly.

However, as soon as it was dawn something grave occurred.
