Chapter 19.1: A little nerve disorder

This is the season for a little bit of nerve disorder. A queer reaction.

Early in the morning, someone sent Xiao He He a large bouquet of flowers. Lilies and lavender with a delicate ribbon tied together with a very delicate card without any printed label of the florist name. It looks more like a special buy. There are elegant words on the card: “Good luck. You must always be happy.” And it is signed by Shi Lin.

He He carefully kept the card and put the flowers into the clay pot that she personally made.

Each designers have a cubicle each. It is hard to hide any secret in general. When the flower shop send the flowers, a few male colleagues quietly blow whistled at her a few times. When they see how dearly she treat the bouquet of flowers, additional few more whistles were blown.

He He pretended not to hear and just shyly smiled. She looked at the flowers. Lavender: meaning of waiting for love. Lilies: mean for all wishes to come true.

He He winced, feel his heart, and felt somewhat indistinct feeling.

In the afternoon, the boss personally called all designers for a meeting. The company size is small with the boss also coming from the designer background. She is also part-time head of the design department. As she was speaking, the young girl open the door, said sorry and then intended to leave.

The company has always been very casual with not much of a strict discipline. The boss said: “If you have something, do come in.”

He He is embarrassed and refuse to rise her head. So the lady boss personally took the flowers and stuffed them into He He’s hand. This time the crowd pay a lot of attention as it is a big bouquet of roses, the rare species in rare colors. It certainly took everyone’s breath away.

He He is too lazy to even look at the card. She is aware that such an arrogant attitude, there is only be Cen Shi who would do that. She exhaled softly and throw the flowers on the table.

The lady boss smiled and patted her hand. “It seems that this one is better than the morning one. If it is really not desirable, then introduced to me.”

Everyone laughed again. He He cursed Cen Shi in her heart.

Sure enough, after work, in front of the office door, Cen Shi is waiting again. He He opened his door and got onto the car. “You choose where to eat and I will pay. Let’s make it clear once and for all. Let’s just do that.”

Zheng Xie and Yang Wei Qi was eating in a restaurant. Yang Wei Qi received a phone call and went out. Upon returning, she said to Zheng Xie: “I think I just saw someone who look like He He sitting in the second row next to us.”

The position that Yang Wei Qi mentioned is just in front of Zheng Xie. He twist his body to the side and had a looked. He could not see anything and said: “Better not. She might be mortified.” Then he continued to bow his head to eat.

Zheng Xie initially guess that the person could be Shi Lin. Then he suddenly remembered that Shi Lin is now in Beijing and would be returning to United States in a few days’ time.

Big man usually are not interested in gossip, so he pressed his curiosity. But he still could not help but keep glancing at the side. Finally he had a chance to know who the man sitting on the other table is. Then Zheng Xie no longer glanced the direction.

When Zheng Xie once again lost concentration with the conversation, Yang Wei Qi said: “Zheng Xie, you started to ‘study’ your fingers again.”

Because Zheng Xie have been caught red-handed, he just smiled and put his hands on the table. But he chooses to keep quiet.

Zheng Xie is sitting slightly behind, hence when the couple leave, they will not pass through his table. Zheng Xie sit against the upper back of the table. This way, even if He He turn around, she would not see him as well.

Yang Wei Qi this time really laughed. She does not speak but just laught. Gradually she smiles. Then she think of something and then laughed. Laughed while trying to take a sip of water.

Zheng Xie said: “Do not laugh. If you choked, it would be ugly and uncomfortable.”

Yang Wei Qi said: “Ai. You looked like parent whom caught your daughter with her puppy love. You are very angry but yet want to make lightly of this. Very awkward.”

Zheng Xie moved his lips tightly: “Your occupational diseases has occurred again.”

Yang Wei Qi stop messing with him. She continued to slice the steak into small pieces. She said: “I have something to say. But you need to promise that you will not get angry.”

“If it is something unpleasant, then you should not say it.”

Yang Wei Qi said: “Not really unpleasant. I am just curious. Towards He He, you have also been so caring and detailed. To the extent that you review her friends as well.
