Chapter 17: Their Shocking Secret

Looking at Jiang Beihan's eyes, he instantly understood. He took out a phone and handed it to Song Wenxin.

Song Wenxin was somewhat surprised by the two men's tacit understanding with just an eye contact.

She took the phone. Instead of calling home, she called her close friend and asked her to make a phone call at home and tell them that she would be sleeping in her home tonight,

After calling, Song Wenxin gave the phone back to the poker-faced man called Shangguan and she couldn't help giving him several glances.

The poker-faced man is very tall and sturdy. He looks fairly average but he with carries with him a… very rugged temperament.

And, just now, the exchange of glances between him and Jiang Beihan confirmed her speculation at the Civil Affairs Bureau that the two were in a relationship!

"Miss Song, something's the matter?" The man Jiang Beihan called Shangguan asked puzzledly, seeing that Song Wenxin gave him strange looks.

Song Wenxin hastily shook her head, "Nothing!" However, she can't stop herself from feeling that Shangguan's attitude towards her is bad.  Is he eating Jiang Beihan's vinegar because she became his wife today?

Thinking so, Song Wenxin could not help but laugh.

What a big shocking secret she discovered!

Hearing her laugh, Jiang Beihan who is working at the side looking at some documents could not help but glanced at her.

Damn! He wanted to blow up those newspapers and magazines that wrote those messy, fabricated news about him liking the same sex!

Moments later, several dishes were placed on the table.

However, Song Wenxin is not fond of eating these dishes.

Every single one of them is exquisite and elaborately plated just like those seen in grand hotels.

She still prefers her mom's home cooked meals.

Moreover, it was just her and Jiang Beihan in the entire dining area, making her feel that it is too serene.

The dining area is too quiet. Jiang Beihan's movement while eating is very elegant and he almost make no noise while drinking wine.

Song Wenxin has no appetite but, because of the things that happened today, she was hungry and reluctantly ate something.

"Already full?" Jiang Beihan put down his chopsticks and glanced at Song Wenxin, sitting opposite him, who had already stopped moving her chopsticks.

Song Wenxin nodded.

"Go back to the room," He got up and spoke to her n a commanding tone,

Song Wenxin nodded again. She thought he would take her to her room but she didn't expect that she would return to yesterday's room.

"Are we sleeping in the same bedroom?" She asked in surprise.

"We are husband and wife." He suddenly walked over to her, leaned closer and then faintly spoke.

Along with his voice… the faint smell of wine flowed out from between his lips, and drifted to her nose. Perhaps, his breath was too intoxicating that it made her heart unconsciously tremble for a moment.

Song Wenxin suddenly became speechless…

Then, he suddenly turned around and left, leaving only Song Wenxin in the room.

She started to curiously examine his bedroom.

The bedroom is very simple. However, the decors and details inside in all aspects reveal luxury.

Exquisite vases and murals, palace-style wall lamps, handcrafted carpets… All of these things, in her eyes, have turned into a huge amount of money.

Because she was too occupied looking around Jiang Beihan's bedroom, it had been very quiet inside. Then, two loud knocks suddenly sounded on the door.

The sudden noise made Song Wenxin frightened for a moment.
