Avian Over Gold Chapter 6 part2

Last night, Gu Weiyi did not sleep well in fear that Lu Yuanheng will come for revenge.  She woke up wtih dark circles under her eyes like a panda, holding the quilt upwards while sitting on the bed, her hair was a mess. Remembering that this morning did not need her to go to class, she could sleep as much as she wanted and be lazy. But considering that Lu Yuanheng must go to work, she got up early and made breakfast. Ah, today might not be a lazy day.

Lu Yuanheng went to school abroad, hence she has to cook western-styled food. She fried the eggs and made toast. Pouring a glass of milk, it was very simple. Her job was finished. At the end of the table, facing upstairs, she shouted a few words: “Lu Yuanheng, come down to have breakfast.”

After taking some time to open the door, Lu Yunaheng leisurely sat down. He was in a black suit while he tucked down his tie. Staring at his tall figure, she blinked her eyes, Gu Weiyi could only think of when she slapped him last night. Feeling guilty, Gu Weiyi looked down, afraid that he might reprimand her.

“Good morning, I’ll leave first.”

She hurriedly walked out of the kitchen, but was then called back by him.

“Gu Weiyi.”

Gu Weiyi turns her head, looking a bit puzzled. Lu Yuanheng picks up his chopsticks, and pokes the freshly fried eggs. He frowned, asking: “What is this on top? Come and take a look.”

She was suspicious of his head in the past. It might’ve been broken. She tilted her head head and concluded: “Probably it’s the egg shell.”

“Oh, eggshell? Deduct ten.”

She is instantly distressed: “Ten is too much.” Breakfast itself does not cost a lot of money, and she even sacrificed her sleep. She could have had a long, lazy sleep. Gu Weiyi only looks at him pitifully, hoping that he can raise it.

“Well, today is not deducted. Make one and fry it.”

Gu Weiyi exhales, she immediately goes to the kitchen, making him another omelette. Outside, Lu Yuanheng watches her. He probably could not catch up to this morning’s conference.

Touching the side of his face, last night’s occurrence seemed to have simulated from the cake, he probably shouldn’t have told her the amount. He never found out what the cake tasted like in the end.

“Gu Weiyi, put some sugar in the omelette.”

“Ok.”

“By the way, put some milk.”

“. . .” She puts milk in the fried eggs.

And she soon finished cooking the omelette, putting it in front of Lu Yuanheng, happily smiling: “Taste it. I cooked it well. Eat it before it gets cold.”

This time, she did not rush to go away. Removing her apron, she pulls out a chair, sitting at the opposite side. Lu Yuanheng looks at the omelette, it looks quite pleasing, he takes a bite.

“Ah, the flavor is good.”

She remains skeptical: “Really?”

“Of course, since you cooked the egg, you have the merit of savoring it. Even if the future only has eggs, you will not starve to death.”

With Lu Yuanheng’s praise, she feels very uneasy. Her heart is not relieved, as if  in the next second, he will reprimand her.

“Your breakfast?”

“I intend to go back to sleep, so it’s very convenient, and that way I can lose weight.”

“But for you, you should not waste this omelette. As to losing weight, you are already too thin. It’s not good.”

Lu Yuanheng pushed the plate of fried eggs towards her, his expression was as if he was rewarding her in general. Obviously so rich, but he’s so stingy about an egg.

“I do not want to eat.”

Lu Yuanheng asked: “You despise my saliva?”

“No.”

“Ah, I think it shouldn’t be, I do not hate you, and you also don’t dislike me. Illogical, ah.”

Why is he being aloof, Gu Weiyi silently closes her eyes, his wallet probably has a lot of money. Therefore he should not be so stingy, and she who only relies on her pocket money can only listen. She cannot complain, only holding in her tears.

“I said that last night, right?”

“When you come come back to eat a meal during lunch, I will cook. Do not worry. I will not forget.”

“Right, I want four dishes and one soup.”

“While eating the omelette, Gu Weiyi is thinking about the time when it comes to prepare the food. Lu Yuanheng is so picky. Today, he might like to eat a dish, he might not eat it tomorrow. He waits until the next week to eat it. Very infuriating, he is a goblin who simply likes to torture people.

Lu Yuanheng does not know what she is thinking. He can only see her eyes storm eyes before she carried the plate into the kitchen to wash.

He took out a sheet of paper towel, drank the cup of milk, and wiped his mouth with the towel. Taking his briefcase, he got up and was about to leave for work. He went to the door before Gu Weiyi went out from the kitchen.

“Gu Weiyi.”

“What?”

“Go polish my shoes.”

He took out a pair of shoes from the shoe rack. The pair of shoes he was wearing last night, probably, stepped on the edge of a puddle and got dirty. Gu Weiyi looke at him, and cheerfully said: “Ten dollars.”

“Alright, ten dollars. Go.”

She carried the shoes towards the kitchen, so she could brush them. Lu Yuanheng was wearing slippers outside while leaning against the threshold. Looking at the time, when he arrives at the company, the meeting is almost over.

Gu Weiyi brushes it cleanly and carefully. Finally, she dries the shoes with a paper towel. Rich families really have a lot of money, but he still wanted her to pay for that damn cake. Suddenly, her mood dampens. She does not want to think about it, ah.

“Do you need me to provide other services? For example, opening the door, carrying your bag, and the sort.”

She looks very enthusiastic. Lu Yuanheng walked towards her with a smile.

“Do you want to go crazy with money?”
