Apocalyptic Rebirth: Earth's Vast Changes Chapter 10

Chapter 010: Apocalypse Early Warning (1)

T/L: HeXie     E/D: larkspur

Qin Luo had a comfortable two days. He didn't have to eat the unpalatable grains from the apocalypse's time or fought with a bunch of mutant species. During the day, he took Ink and Qin Ke to stroll around the farm and had a picnic to mediate their lives; at night, he watched TV and then helped Ink get rid of the large amount of the liquified silver ions left in his legs.

The next morning, old John called Qin Luo. He said that he had gathered all his people and was able to transport all the cans to the warehouse near the road in half a day. Qin Luo could inform his friends to send their car to pick up the goods anytime now.

At two o'clock in the afternoon, Qin Luo drove his car to the warehouse to inspect the goods in person, and transferred some of the funds George had cashed out to him to old John's account. Old John wanted to accompany Qin Luo to wait for the big client, but Qin Luo pretended that the other side would come in the middle of the night to take it away and sent old John and the crowd away. After everyone had gone far enough, Qin Luo quickly put all the cans into his space, then pretended to lock the door again before he drove back to his farm.

In the next few days, Qin Luo used this method to transfer the purchased livestock meat and poultry meat into his own space. Looking at the livestock and poultry that were constantly being transported to the slaughterhouse, and in accordance with the current slaughtering speed Qin Luo thought that he might have to stay here for another week or so.

That night, the three of them were having dinner, while conveniently listening to the going-ons in the news that was being broadcast. But, since it's the local TV station in England, Qin Luo only idly listened to it.

At this time, the news was broadcasting about a territorial dispute between country R and country Z. Qin Luo was a native of country Z, and while the country was destroyed during the apocalypse and the region already unfamiliar to him, the chinese people's blood in his bones made him still care for his country.

The main point of the news was that there was a UFO that crashed in the territorial waters of country Z near country R. And despite the strict warning from Z's government, country R still entered the territorial sea of Country Z and forcibly salvaged the UFO.

Clack. Qin Luo's chopsticks fell on the table. He suddenly stood up, walking a few steps to the TV. Just in time to see several pictures of the long-range aerial photos that were taken, all of which were pictures of unidentified flying objects (UFO) salvaged by Country R. Then there were various gatherings, protests, and demonstrations done by people from Country Z.

Qin Luo hit the TV with a punch. And, because he hit too hard, the TV shook a few times on the wooden table.

Both Ink and Qin Ke looked at him, confused. They didn't know why he suddenly paid attention to such piece of news to the point he was agitated enough to smash the TV.

"Little uncle, what's wrong with you?" Qin Ke asked as he blinked his eyes and looked at Qin Luo.

Qin Luo's brow was wrinkled tightly and he didn't say a word for a long time. The apocalypse was near and ahead of its scheduled time. It was advanced by at the very least, half a year ahead. People who had gone through the apocalypse knew that the UFO forcefully salvaged by Country R was the final trigger to the apocalypse.

They couldn't wait to study the UFO, and in order to prevent its allies' covetous hand, the giant UFO was hidden in a secret research base at F island's nuclear power plant. What the son of b****** didn't expect that the nuclear leak caused the bacteria carried by the UFO to mutate, and eventually set off a catastrophe on Earth.

It was not only humans, but all species on earth also experienced similar catastrophe. As for the island nation that had committed a lot of crimes in World War II experienced a complete genocide.

"We'll leave for the winery tomorrow." Qin Luo said slowly to Ink and Qin Ke.

Ink had no objections. He only nodded quietly. However, Qin Ke was not happy. "Tia's grandma said that she would make me a delicious meatloaf tomorrow night. Can't we go the day after tomorrow?"

Qin Luo shook his head. "Little Ke, we'll say hello to Mrs. Tia. When we get back, let's ask her to make more meatloaf for you."

Qin Ke, seeing Qin Luo's insistence, pouted. In the end, he nodded his head, reluctantly accepting the decision.

The next morning, Qin Luo set out with Qin Ke and Ink to the winery. This time, Qin Luo didn't delay anything. He only stayed for one night, and asked people to find five huge Van trucks to transport two-third of the wine back to the warehouse beside the road in one breath that had a stable and dependable space to take in the wines.

And then, instead of going to the small farm not far away from here, he asked Zat to speed up as fast as possible and tried to get all the livestock and poultry to be slaughtered and transported to the warehouse beside the road within two days.

Zat looked at him with a serious face, fearing that some unforeseen event had happened to the other side. Therefore, he urged the workers to work overtime. Fortunately, everyone was able to run the farm operation smoothly, and the overtime pay was not low either, so no one questioned it. They merely speeded up their work a lot.

Qin Luo was not idle. He took Ink's pictures personally and carefully embellished it using a computer for the whole morning until the face was completely different. Only when he looked at it from the front and side, and couldn't recognize it as Ink himself did he call George's contact. He sent him the photo and asked him to use it to apply for corresponding documents. He also stated that the documents and passports should be sent to Walter's villa in three days, and the longer they delayed things, the later they left George's sight. The other side quickly gave their reply that the documents would be delivered on time three days later and hoped that Qin Luo would leave England as soon as possible.
