An Interview With a Playboy Chapter 15 part1

Jennafei put on a smile before the camera held by the photographer she came in with.   After taking the picture, she asked to be excused from the well-known socialites she was talking with to mingle with another group of elite people.

During that time, she was at the second engagement party from two of both  from old rich families, Blue Madrigal and Kimberly Romero. The wedding is all set and planned but for formality sake and to erase the scandal from the first engagement party, they held another one at the Madrigal residence.

(T/N: I have the book but I did not read the book yet as I have too many books and dramas  on my plate yet to read and watch, so I don't have a clue what that scandal was all about.)

Jennafei was chosen to attend the gathering. She first thought of declining but she knew that she didn't have the right to decline a job due to personal reason. It's because there was a high chance that Dex will be present because he was Kimberly's cousin. She did not want to see him. She did not see him n person again since he graduated from college and she didn't plan on seeing him again. She declined the assignment given by Mr. Agustin and request from Pete to try convincing the guy to guest in their show.

In their private conversation, Pete was puzzled when she pleaded him not to insist the assignment to her. She confessed that he made a big offense towards her in the past and she didn't want to have anything to do with him. The producer understood and promised to keep the information he learned from her.

But she was there and she knew that anytime, she would see him. Before she got there, she prepared herself on what to don n case she saw him. She going to ignore and won't even take a picture of him. She will just consider him as a complete stranger.

In  few moments, the engagement party had started. She finished taking a brief interview from the celebrants  who appeared happy with each other. She found out that they got back together in Capetown, South Africa. She noticed that Blue and Kimberly were so in love with each other. She can't help thinking when will Red settle down like his older brother.

"Allan, have you seen Red Madrigal? I haven't seen him yet," Jenna asked her photographer.

"Nope. I think he hasn't arrived yet."

There was news that he will stop his modeling career to will focus on the one of the company of the Madrigal Group. She wants to get an update from Red. The last time they saw each other was a month ao during a fashion show,

"Hey, beautiful. Will you not take an interview from me?"

She looked around and slowly smiled. "Red Madrigal, the international playboy," she teased.

He moved near and hissed hem on her cheek. "Hey, that's not true."

Then he shook hands with Allan.

"Picture, bro?"

"Sure," Red agreed and but his arm on around her shoulder. Allan took them a shot. Afterwards, Allan went away to take some drinks.

"How is the famous?"

"You are the famous one. Your controversies and lined up. And I'm pissed with you for not taking your first interview with us about your latest controversy."

"Well, first come, first served."

"So, what's up now? Hat are you doing now before you enter the corporate world?"

Red's face soured. Obviously, he did not really like entering the business world. He smiled right after when his eyes landed on her red pumps.

"Right now, I'm searchng for my Cinderella," he meaningfully said.

She raised her brow. "Cinderella?" His eyes seemed to glow.

"Hey, what's up?"

Both of them looked at the speaker.

"Hey, Jude!" Red joyfully greeted. He hugged the guy with the same height. "It's good that you came with your parents."

"I was not suppose to come 'cause I know no one here my parents said that your father and brother wanted to meet me."

"Hi, Jenna. It's good to see you again." Jude smilingly said.

"Jude?" Jenna can't believe it's him after confirming her guess who he was.

Jude nodded and kissed her on the cheek. What she knew was he did not finish studying at the university because he migrated to the States with his family.

"Did you just arrive from the States?

"Yeah. Just yesterday."

"Jude here is a multimillionaire now," Red said while teasing.

"Shut up, man."

"It's true. Their business is in the States. He became a millionaire in his own effort. In fact, he's a future client of Blue in Linkage Telecom."

"Wow. Congratulations, Jude," Jennafei gladly said.

"Thanks. Congratulations to you, too. I heard that you're already a well-known TV personality and journalist."

"Shit!" gasped Red. He was suddenly at behind Jude like he was hiding. "What is that crazy girl doing here? Who the hell invited her?"

She followed where Red was looking at. She found a familiar beautiful woman walking by herself in the crowd. She was looking around like she was looking for someone.

"Hazel Legaspi?" She silently uttered. The woman was a model. "Is she one of your girls?" she teased.

"Hell, no. She's Dex's."

Hearing the name, her smile was erased. Jenafei noticed that Jude was looking at her so she forced the smile back. She was about to ask Red why she was hiding from someone he's not associated with in the first place when the guy spoke again.

"I have to go now. I will leave both of behind. Enjoy the party." Red went away right after.

She shook her head. "Playboys…"

"How's Dex?"

"Excuse me?"

"Dex. Weren't you together? He kicked me out of the school because of you. You must be really special to him."

Jennafei was astounded. "What? He kic…kicked to out?" So ergo, it was not true that he dropped out of school because their family migrated to the States.

"Yeah."

"B-because of me? How did–?

"Well, it's an old issue. I don't want to recall. My life turned into better when I was kicked out of school. So I don't want to recall anymore.

She stared at Jude.
