TN: I’m really sorry for the lack of update . Life is rough atm . Work hours is just getting longer (where 12 hrs a day with only 15 mins break is considered normal) and in the rare day off I have, I have other priority that I have to do first . If there are anyone who want to pick up this project, please tell me . If no one is interested, I will keep translating this story although I can’t promise anything about the release schedule…

And after that debacle, against Addie, she used her trump card, “I will tell father!”, while Alicia was trying to force Patrick to stop being a spectator… . in the end, Mary was able to study abroad at Eleshiana Academy in the neighboring country .

　It was a sister school to Carelia Academy, an educational institution where noble and rich merchant’s children attend .   Being a sister schools, the atmosphere of the interior was similar to Carelia Academy, even the conversation between students felt like something she heard before . Things like when is the next tea party, or what they just bought…Mary had enough with those kind of bragging, but conversely speaking, those were familiar things that she was used to .

　And although she couldn’t comprehend the meaning despite gazing at them, there were also bronze statue of the headmaster and monuments  created by famous artisan around the gate .   Even moreso, despite the bronze statue and monument were different from the one in Carelia Academy, to Mary all of them were incomprehensible articles .

　I will get used to it soon if it’s like this…she felt relief inside her heart, while in front of her the headmaster gave her an amiable smile .

　His thinning scalp reflected the light from the window and Mary narrowed her eyes slightly . She didn’t know what to call this feeling…something was stuck inside her chest . A vague kind of sensation .

“There will be another female student who transfer in on the 2nd year . ”

“Oh, is that so?

“Most of the classes are optional, but sometimes you have to take class on class-by-class basis, since it’s like that, I put both of you in the same class . ”

“Thank you for your consideration . ”

　The headmaster started to walk after giving off another friendly smile at Mary . It was rare to have another transfer student at the same time, but she was thankful that she didn’t have to worry for being the only one . To be put in the same class was probably the headmaster’s way of being considerate .

　To understand and feeling thankful, but there was still this unspeakable feeling inside her chest .

　There was something in the edge of her mind as she watched the light sparkled on the headmaster’s head, but she couldn’t remember it .   Just a bit more, everything would be clear if she could just force it a bit more…

　How vexing…as Mary felt this inside her heart, at the same time, the headmaster stopped walking .

　It seemed they arrived at the class where the transfer student was in . If you look at it, there was a shadow of a person in the small window of the pretty door . It seemed they were doing something inside, but unfortunately since the door was well-made, no sound was leaked outside .

　When the headmaster knocked on the door to see what was happening inside, a young, refreshing gentleman opened the door .

“Headmaster, thank you for coming here . ”

“No problem . By the way, is the other young lady arrived yet? “

“Yes, she was a bit lost . I was thinking to let her introduce herself after this . ”

　Just in time, Mary bowed her head gracefully at the teacher .

　While he looked young, as a teacher in Eleshiana Academy, he must be well-educated .   His outward appearance looked somewhat flighty, but it was Mary’s principle to not let appearance be the deciding factor of her judgement .   He might be someone who is unexpectedly earnest in his academic life despite looking flighty . It was definitely not a ‘the important thing is a person’s personality’, kind of lip service . It was simply because she was self-aware that she was ‘a splendid noble lady when she did and say nothing . ’ That’s why she could say that one couldn’t judge a person by their appearance . In a good way or a bad way…

“Nice to meet you, my name is Mary Albert . It is only for a year, but please guide me . ”

　To Mary who lifted the edge of her skirt as she bowed gracefully, the teacher let out a wry smile as he said, “As expected of Albert daughter . ”

　He said that he had chosen the teacher’s way to lead young people in the position of a scholar . It was flippantly said, but his eyes held no doubt, only strong will, as expected one couldn’t judge a book by its cover, Mary decided . …well, even though in the middle, he smiled refreshingly and waved to the passing female student who called to him with a shrilly voice, that flighty aspect was true as well .

“The other transfer student is inside as well, could you do self-introduction together?”

　The teacher invited Mary into the classroom, opening the door like a gentlemen .

　Mary, on the other hand, gave a small bow and slowly stepped into the classroom…

“Everyone, my name is Lilianne, I’m in your care starting today! “

　with a cheerful and cute voice that could send star and heart mark flying, as the same female species Mary wondered about the girl’s vocal chord, the girl gave her greetings .

“As expected, she is here…”

　With a turbulent mood as if an enemy appeared before her .

　At the end, in front of a number of good looking male students, Mary felt dizzy for a moment .

“Mary-sama, please call me if you need something . ”

　The headmaster nodded his head as a parting gesture, as Mary about to stopped him, she narrowed her eyes at the part of his head that was bowing toward her .

　Especially at the light that was reflected from his thinning scalp…  That moment, Mary could hear the sound of something falling into place inside her .

　She remembered .

　This world, as expected, was an otome game world after all .
