The man standing alone in the elevator looked very precarious. The slowly narrowing elevator door seemed to eat a man.

Ellie asked in astonishment.

“What's going on? Who is that person who just left?”

Ellie replied timidly.

“You promised not to drink when you're working.”

She once lent money on that condition, and it was before Adam became her fiance. Of course, Ellie didn't pay back her money or keep her promise. Even with money, alcohol was a real problem.

“Well, you are drinking like that at the meeting.”

Hae-won followed Ellie back to her seat and continued to question her sibling. Standing in front of the desk, Ellie gulped down cold water.

“Tell me why you're doing this. What's with the text? What's going on?”

Ellie, raising her voice, stuttered and blurred the end of her words.
