"Hello, officers. Can you please unlock these handcuffs for me? I don't think it's necessary right? After all, I am only a suspect." Shen Tianyun said while tugging a short-length handcuffs chain slightly.

"Stop making a fuss, go get some water for this Mister." He was wearing a long sleeves white-shirt and had a kind smile on his lips, it made him look like a benevolent man.
Upon hearing his comrade said, the fierce-looking officer walked out of the room in a haughty manner. He did not forget to shot a piercing glare at Shen Tianyun before leaving.
The benevolent-looking officer smiled warmly at Shen Tianyun as he said, "Hello, Mister Shen Tianyun. Please don't mind him, he is always like that." He paused for a moment and see Shen Tianyun gave him a nod in reply. He then continued, "Anyway, I should introduce myself first. I am Detective Ma, Ma Yuanfeng and that officer is Detective Shi Huan. We are here to interrogate you as we received a report, you are a suspect of a murder case. Do you understand?" His voice was very gentle.
Shen Tianyun admitted that this man's voice was very pleasant to hear, this Ma Yuanfeng probably expertise on making a suspect lowering their guard down.
"Yes, I understand." Shen Tianyun replied with a smiling face.
At this moment, Shi Huan walked into the room with a glass of water in his hand. He put it down on the table and glared at Shen Tianyun with a contempt smile.
"Here, your water. Our water dispenser is not working. We only have tap water here." He said in a playful tone.
Shen Tianyun took a glance at the glass of water and saw a dust mixed in it. He turned his head to look at Shi Huan, "Thank you, Detective Shi." Following that, he gulped it down in one go without worry anything.
Everyone know that tap water in this country was undrinkable but Shen Tianyun did not care about it. In his previous life, he usually drank it all the time when he did not have money. And with his current constitution, he did not have to worry he would get sick from drinking it.
Ma Yuanfeng and Shi Huan saw this scene they started to frown. At first, they wanted to slowly play with Shen Tianyun's mind and made him angry or lose himself so they could easily make him confess all his crime. However, they did not expect Shen Tianyun did not have any change in his emotion at all despite being treated harshly like this.
Ma Yuanfeng smiled, "We truly apologize for this. I hope Mister Shen don't mind about it. We will have people bring a freshwater for you later."
Put an empty glass down, Shen Tianyun shrugged his shoulders, "It's fine, tap water is not that bad. You should know it right? I have grew up in the slum before. This is nothing since I drink it every day in the past." He replied in a carefree manner as if it was nothing for him.
"Stop your bullshit already! Here sign on this and you can peacefully go to a prison." Shi Huan said loudly and tossed a paper to Shen Tianyun, it was almost hit his face.
Shen Tianyun did not bother to avoid it, he lifted his hands up and caught it down to the table. His eyes quickly swept through the detail on the paper before he shook his head as if he just saw something very funny.
He looked at Ma Yuanfeng, "Is this how the officer working? You don't have any evidence or telling me anything about the crime yet you wanted me to sign on this confession. Are you insulting my intelligence?" Before Ma Yuanfeng could reply, Shen Tianyun said further, "Also, with all due respect, please stop this bad cops-good cops tactic already. I think both of you probably watching a western movie too much."
Ma Yuanfeng's mouth twitched slightly, "I have to apologize on his behalf. It was his first time to do this, he doesn't know about the process much."
"Then you should make him shut up." Shen Tianyun said coldly.
"You…!" Shi Huan was angry immediately as he stood up and pointed at Shen Tianyun's face.
Ma Yuanfeng hurried to stop his comrade and smiled apologetically at Shen Tianyun.
When Shi Huan calmed down, Shen Tianyun said further, "If you don't know how to do it, let me do it then." He glanced at Ma Yuanfeng and asked, "First of all, you should tell me, what crime did I do, and then you should take out the evidence or you can try to ask me some questions."
Ma Yuanfeng was speechless. Why would this brat suddenly become interrogator himself?
He nodded, "Mister Shen Tianyun, 17 years old, a high school student. We got a reliable report around 11 PM today. Right now, you are a suspect of a murder case."
Shen Tianyun nodded, "And then? Who is the victim? Who is the reporter?"
"We don't have the right to tell you about our source. Can you tell me where are you around 11 PM today?" Ma Yuanfeng asked calmly.
Shen Tianyun thought for a bit, "I was driving to a certain place when I received a call said that my subordinate has been kidnapped… I think we already called the police at that time. Why don't you check about it?"

"Sit down!" Ma Yuanfeng yelled at Shi Huan before he reverted back to his benevolent-looking once again and said to Shen Tianyun, "I have to apologize again, Mister Shen. He…"
Before Ma Yuanfeng could finish his sentence, Shen Tianyun cut in harshly, "Can you cut the crap and toss this bastard out already. Since he is so useless why would you need him here ah?"
"Fuck! Do you want to die ah!?" Shi Huan could not stand anymore he stood up and walked towards Shen Tianyun before he punched on his face.
Of course, this was the result Shen Tianyun was looking for he did not intend to avoid it and received Shi Huan's punch directly. His face turned away from the impact, a blood slowly trailed out from a corner of his mouth when he turned his head to the previous position.
Shen Tianyun grinned playfully as he looked at Shi Huan, "Not bad, it was slightly above a grandma's punch."
"You!" Received Shen Tianyun's insult, Shi Huan was so angry to the point his face flushed red and was about to punch again Ma Yuanfeng pulled him back quickly.
"Shut the hell up, Shi Huan! You go outside! I don't need you here." Ma Yuanfeng thunderously roared at his comrade, he had to shatter his benevolent appearance as he did this.
Shi Huan came back to his sense, he knew that he got into trouble right now and Ma Yuanfeng tried to hint him as he wanted him to get out of this room quickly to avoid the problem. It was not a small case if a police hitting a suspect.
Not to mention Shen Tianyun has a good relationship with Fang Yulan, a Pearl city mayor. If she were to take action on him for this, no one could save him. Even his backup, Bureau Chief Ding could not easily help him out of this.
Shi Huan snorted and was about to walk out, Shen Tianyun's cold voice rang out from the behind, "Where are you going, Detective Shi? I guess there is a recorder in this room right? When he said the later sentence he turned to look at a wall on his right side as he guessed Ding Han probably watching him from that side.
Shi Huan stopped his tracks, cold sweats beaded on his forehead. He looked at Ma Yuanfeng with pleading eyes.
Ma Yuanfeng sighed regretfully, he should not let this man come with him in the first place. He thought Shi Huan could control himself and keep playing his bad cop's role, this incident was out of his expectation. He glanced at the smiling Shen Tianyun and started to view him in a new light.
A 17 years old, with a quick wit and sharp tongue along with that calmness which exceeded his age by leaps and bounds. Ma Yuanfeng understood now why his leader, Ding Han was so serious about this case.
"Of course, you can choose to apologize to me. Maybe I can forgive you about this." Shen Tianyun said further with a playful smile hung on his lips.
Ma Yuanfeng shifted his gaze between Shi Huan and Shen Tianyun for a while before he said to Shi Huan, "Go, you should apologize to Mister Shen." His eyes clearly said 'If you don't want to get into trouble, just do it.'
Seeing his friend's serious expression, Shi Huan gritted his teeth and said unwillingly, "I'm sorry."
Shen Tianyun laughed out loud when he saw this scene, "That's all? If you hurt someone you can just say sorry and forget everything just like that?" He glanced at Ma Yuanfeng and continued, "Is this how the police working, Detective Ma? It looks like I have to report Mayor Fang after this."
Ma Yuanfeng's expression changed instantly, he took a deep breath and asked, "Then what do you want us to do, Mister Shen?"

At this moment, the door slowly opened and Bureau Chief Ding Han's figure appeared on Shen Tianyun's sight. He walked into the room and waved his hand to disperse the 2 officers, "Leave, I will handle this." He said calmly there was a hint of superiority in his voice.
Ma Yuanfeng heaved a sigh of relief and quickly dragged Shi Huan out of the room. Ding Han shifted his gaze onto Shen Tianyun before he sat down opposite him.
"You're worthy of your reputation indeed. No wonder, Secretary Lin personally pays attention to you." Ding Han said with a gentle smile.
Shen Tianyun chuckled, "Oh? I never know that I am very famous. Can you tell me more about it, Bureau Chief Ding? Especially about your relationship with Secretary Lin."

Shen Tianyun frowned slightly. Don't tell me those Lan Qingcheng's men didn't do anything about it? He thought.
"Then can where is your evidence, Bureau Chief Ding?" He probed.

Shen Tianyun only looked at him coldly without saying anything. He did not have any fear at all. Right now he only waiting for his trump card to kick in.
Seeing Shen Tianyun's expression, Ding Han took it as he was very scared and his smile grew wider, "Talking about that bitch. Tsk, I really want to fuck her badly. Maybe after finish this job, I will request Secretary Lin for this reward. Hehehe." He laughed lewdly afterward.
Shen Tianyun's eyes turned cold when he heard this. In his heart, he gave this man a death sentence already.

At that moment, the interrogation room's door opened. A middle-aged man with a messy hair walked into the room. He had a long untrimmed beard around his chin, the skins around his eyes were quite dark from tiredness. From the look of it, he should be around his early forties.
"Ding Han, you have been arrested as a suspect of the human traffic case, Please come with me." The man said solemnly as he showed the arrest warrant to Ding Han.
Ding Han was perplexed for a moment before he asked confusedly, "What the meaning of this Yun Tianxiao?"
The newcomer was no other than the Vice Bureau Chief Yun Tianxiao, with his stoic expression, he said further, "We have evidences about it. You are involving in the human traffic and the Black Dragon gang. Officers, arrest him."

Yun Tianxiao nodded, "You can have a lawyer later but right now, you have to come with me first." He said solemnly.

At this moment, Shen Tianyun's voice rang out, "Ah? It seems you have got into trouble now, Bureau Chief Ding."
Ding Han quickly turned to glare Shen Tianyun ferociously, "You! It was you!" He seemed to understand something. Shen Tianyun definitely involved in this matter.

"Fuck! I will kill you for sure! You wait for me!" Ding Han shouted viciously while he has been pushed against the table by the 2 officers and has been dragged out of the room afterward. Leaving behind a smiling Shen Tianyun and Yun Tianxiao.
"Brat, you are something." Yun Tianxiao said with a friendly smile contrasted to the previous solemn expression. He slowly sat down opposite Shen Tianyun.
Shen Tianyun smiled faintly, he lifted his cuffed hands up and said, "Before praising me, can you please unlock this handcuffs for me first, Vice Bureau Chief Yun…oh? Should I congratulate you in advance? Bureau Chief Yun."
Yun Tianxiao chuckled, "Hahaha, we still don't know if I could get a promotion from this." He paused for a moment, his friendly smile instantly vanished into a thin air, "As for unlocking your handcuffs, you have to wait for a while. After all, you are still a suspect in a murder case." He said coldly, he stared straight into Shen Tianyun's eyes causing Shen Tianyun felt a chill running down to his spine.
