Chapter 1

Deep Sea City, International Airport.

Bustling crowds were gathered at the pick-up terminal, and some showed up with camera and hand held microphones. They looked at the arrival entrance with eager, wolf-like eyes. The loud voices of the flight attendants reverberated continuously in the vast hall: "Flight EC2876 from Los Angeles has arrived at the terminal safely. Please have your friends prepare to pick you up."

Not long afterwards, the passengers who exited the plane dragged their luggage out of the hallway in twos and threes. A slender figure emerged with the crowd.

The reporters who were present brightened up, and one of them called out first: "Lu Xi!"

This exclamation brought the awaiting people into attention. The reporters began to swarm towards the man who emerged from the exit.

At the back of the airport, Su Jin listened to the buzz and commotion in the hall before bowing her head down slightly.

The legendary male protagonist had appeared.

That's right, it was this legendary man.

A week ago, after she was involved in a plane crash and had awoken, she had inexplicably found herself in this world. Now she was Su Jin, the solitary, parentless orphan who had now become the eldest young Miss of the Su family—a prestigious household in Shenhai City.

Originally she was a composed person by nature, so she usually maintained a calm temperament. Even when she arrived in this world, it had only taken her a full three days before she accepted that she transmigrated into a novel. Of all places, she happened to be in the novel whose ending she had just read in the plane.

This was an urban romance story. The only thing that comforted Su Jin was the fact that although the novel followed the old-fashioned drama style, her parents weren't unkind to her and there were no villains or siblings who sought her life.

The story went like this: Li Xiyue, the daughter who was replaced by the orphaned Miss Su Jin, had disappeared 22 years ago. She had lost her parents' whereabouts after a series of car accidents during her childhood, but after 22 years, she had finally recovered her identity as the real Eldest Miss Su. Mister Su and his wife felt a lot of guilt towards their missing daughter so they showered her with a lot of love when she finally returned home. Fortunately, the Lin family who adopted her was a well off family, so Li Xiyue did not suffer the past few years. Even though she could have felt wronged, Li Xiyue was a smart and diligent girl; there was no grievance or dissatisfaction in her mind.

Meanwhile there was Su Jin, who grew up with a golden spoon. Because she had been spoiled by her parents and brother from a young age, she became somewhat arrogant. However, in the end, she was born with a simple nature, and she had no other good sisters to play with in her youth. Thus, her impression of this new and gentle sister was not bad. The two got along well. They became quite close, which made their parents feel happy.

However, the peaceful atmosphere in the family had ended with the arrival of a man.

Lu Xi, 26, a young master of the Lu family in Beijing, was recognized as an international genius director, and was the only disciple of Hollywood's top director Charis.

He was also Miss Su Jin's fiancé.

Only heaven knows how Old Man Lu, who lived far away in Jingzhou, along with Elder Su, had actually set a marriage contract for their grandchildren.

Some time ago, the Su family's Head had died in a chain of car accidents. Before his death, he made a phone call to Old Man Lujia to tell him of his current daughter of the past 20 years.

Elder Su's original intention was to find a reliable husband for his most beloved granddaughter before his death. After all, Lu's family was a deeply rooted family with over a hundred years of history. Their reputation was clear and the Ming Group they owned was among the highest in the international rankings. Although Lu Xi was not the first heir, there was no doubt about his talents, and what's more, the Lu Brothers have always had a good relationship.

Unexpectedly, years after his death such a drama would unveil. His beloved granddaughter Su Jin, did not contain a drop of blood in the Su family, while the real Eldest Miss Su had appeared before them. The marriage contract had become more and more complicated.

One is the eldest daughter who had no blood relationship, but was loved for many years. The other was the youngest daughter who was away from home for a long time, and had lived with her adopted parents. The father, Su Chenghai, was fair to both his daughters, and he let them decide what they wanted to do.

Later when Lu Xi had arrived at Deep Sea City, Su Chenghai had brought both of his daughters to meet the man at the pick-up terminal.

Finally they see expensively dressed Young Master Lu; a pair of peach eyes stared at the two ladies.

Then there was the usual dramatic scene—when the Male lead and the Female leads see eye to eye, while the spoiled Su Jin would also be fascinated by the gentle gaze of that man. Afterwards, the villainess would use all of her tricks to make the man hers. Having been spoiled by her family while growing up, she started to think that if Lin Xiyue wasn't around, she would naturally be the rightful fiancé of Lu Ximing. But as she saw the attractive male and female leads become closer to each other, she could not be reconciled. She began to use vicious scheming to achieve her goals. Unfortunately her character was originally someone brainless and didn't think things through. Even her plotted kidnapping was easily found, and near the end, the male lead had sent her abroad. She was sent away without food or clothing to spare. At the closing of the story, Su Jin was forgotten by all and she never returned.

Thinking of the original owner's life, the current Su Jin shook her head slightly. In fact, the original had fallen in love at first sight. But to her, all "love at first sight" events were simply an outbreak of hormones; how deep could the original's love possibly be? The former Su Jin was just used to being spoiled as she grew, so she had the tendency to snatch what she thought belonged to her. What she loved was not the man, but rather, her own obsessions.

But for this obsession, she lost her family's affections, lost her love, and even her own life.

The current Su Jin didn't know if the original had no regrets, but since there was another chance of life for her in this world, the current Su Jin felt warmth for her new family. She will certainly cherish her family in this world.

The commotion in the hall had gradually quieted down. Su Chenghai and his two daughters came out of the car and stared at the man left and right. Seeing his two tender and bright daughters, the father smiled lovingly towards his girls.

Su Jin looked up and stared at the half-opened back door. A figure gradually emerged and appeared in sight. She raised her brows with interest.

In fact, she was quite curious about the unrivaled man in the novel. After all, there was no concrete description of his appearance in the story; it only mentioned that he had peach-like eyes and a jade like face. As for his temperament, although he was often described by the entertainment news, but after all, temperament was something that can only be seen when he is met in person.

In the distance, the figure came over and his image gradually turned from blurred to clear.

A white shirt, light gray collared windbreaker; one hand on his pocket while the other casually hung on his side. Su Jin could not look away. She didn't know why, but in her heart suddenly emerged these four words:

Qing Feng Lang Yue**

(**T/N: Qing Feng Lang Yue 清风朗月–"Cool Breeze, Bright Moon" and is an idiom used to describe someone as elegant and attractive)

This person who was elegant like the moon, had approached until his face became clear in her sight.

His photos in the entertainment news and his current looks were generally the same; thick black eyebrows, a straight nose, thin lips raised in an arc, and a pair of smiling peach eyes.

Looking at his pair of eyes, Su Jin's eyebrows raised thoughtfully; his attractive eyes carried a shallow smile, but she clearly saw that beneath his ink-like iris was hidden a faint alienation.

This man… she shook her head secretly; she remembered how the book described him to be friendly and mellow person. Such a thought made her laugh. In a family as prestigious as his, how could he be so simple? The alienation hidden beneath his seemingly tender and passionate peach eyes was probably the true nature of this person.

"Lu—" Su Chenghai was about to greet the young man when he paused, frowning slightly. How should he address the young man? If he went by his family background, he should be addressed formally, but now the young master was about to enter a marriage contract with one of his daughters.

"You are Uncle Su right?" Having noticed the embarrassment of the middle-aged man in front of him, Lu Xi opens up saying, "Uncle Su you can just call me Lu Xi if you like."

This future son-in-law wasn't so bad, he was definitely the pride of the Lu family. Su Chenghai secretly nodded his head in approval; his impression of the young man was getting better. He reached over to tap Lu Xi's shoulder, then smiled and said: "Well in this case, I won't be polite. These are my two daughters," he pointed and said "This is my eldest daughter Su Jin." Then he pointed to the other side and introduced, "This is my youngest daughter, Lin Xiyue."

Su Chenghai didn't explain anything about the different surname that his youngest daughter had. He assumed that with the power of the Lu family, Lu Xi would know of their backstory beforehand, and would naturally be aware of the changes within the Su family.

"Miss Lin." Lu Xi turned to face Lin Xiyue on the right. His attractive gaze caused her to slightly stagger, but he seemed to carry a clear trace of detachment.

"Young Master Lu." Li Xinyue also put away her amazed stare; she smiled at the man and politely nodded.

Su Jin's eyes quickly turned left and right as her sharp mind assessed the situation. Why does this scene seem a bit wrong? Wasn't there supposed to be a spark of attraction between them?

Lu Xi had noticed the constantly changing expressions on Su Jin's eyes. For a moment, a flash of bright luster flitted across his eyes before it disappeared into the boundless darkness. The woman turned slightly to look at him.

Just as Su Jin raised her head, she noticed that the man's eyes had lingered on her for a while. Lu Xi suddenly reached out for a handshake and said, "Eldest Miss Su, Su Jin. Your beauty is quite stunning, it really deserves its reputation."

His voice was low and mellow, as if the elegant chords of a cello were strung. Su Jin extended her hand politely. Her eyebrows slightly furrowed at him suspiciously. Being complimented so well by him, she couldn't help but be surprised . Of course she was aware of her appearance; when she woke up in this world for the first time and looked at the mirror, she stood shocked for a long time.

Compared to Lin Xiyue's "gentle" beauty, her appearance was more worthy of being called "bright." Her bright eyes, long eyebrows, full lips, and beautiful features like a painting, coupled with her black long hair. Sometimes Su Jin thought that her appearance wasn't the proper female standard in the novel.

Today, when Lu Xi used the word "stunning" to describe her, she wasn't surprised by the comment. Rather, she was surprised by the person who praised her.

Male lead, are your aesthetics distorted this time? Based on the book you shouldn't take interest in me; I'm not to your taste!

She took another look at the man who was taller than her even though she wore high heels. The man's height along with his shallow smile made him "high and mighty" compared to those around him.

Su Jin slightly shook her head at such thoughts, then looked down at his hand that were still outstretched. It was a big hand. Oh, the palms of his hands were quite good-looking; the ten fingers were slender and the joints were distinct. She couldn't help but appreciate them.

Seeing Su Jin's slightly stunned expression, Lu Xi noticed her hesitation and followed her gaze….she was staring at his palms when the corner of her lips lifted. This…was she accusing him of not being enough of a Gentleman?

He suddenly broke into a low laughter.

Su Jin's pair of phoenix eyes looked up at the tall man who gradually bent over in front of her.

His warm lips fell on the back of her hand.

With a smile, a low voice escaped from his thin lips:

"Hello, my fiancé."

T/N: There’s a lot of cute scenes later as well. Anyways it’s really easy to translate and if you guys read the raws, you’ll see that there’s barely any need to edit on google translate. Hope you guys give this novel a try, and maybe some translator will be interested in picking this up!

I’ve only read up to chapter 20 before so I have no idea how the story develops. Let me know you guys’ thoughts!

P.S. (I like the next chapters so much that I might post up chapter 2 or 3, but that’s as far as I’m willing to go. I’m mainly focusing on translating my current novels for now).
