Chapter 1 She Stabbed Him in the Chest

In the dark and chilly forest, Wen Muchu successfully saved Lan Xiao with the help of his soldiers wearing the Military Cross.
A hint of surprise flashed through Lan Xiao's eyes. “Wen Muchu, thank you,” she said as she rushed to him.
Wen Muchu was a little taken aback, but he still held out his arms to catch her.

At this moment, the whole world seemed to go dark and quiet, as if her head had exploded.
There was a lump in her throat, and tears continuously rolled down her cheeks.
The whole time she held Wen Muchu's body in her arms, she was in a daze, as if she didn't know where she was and what she had done.
Wearing a military uniform and holding a short gun, Lou Yucheng walked towards them step by step, surrounded by well-trained soldiers.
