[Thiiiiiiiieeeeefffffff!!!]

Hahaha their faces are funny if they show that kind of reaction. And I didn’t even steal this…. I just begged for it ahahahahahah. I just kept running, there were three men that was chasing me. But what ever chase they did, they weren’t able to catch me. There were times that I was almost caught but I was able to quickly escape from them.

[Laaaaaarrrkkk! Return those stolen goods!]

Looking back on those who were chasing me, I saw that they were trying so hard to chase after me.

[As if! Don’t be stingy, you’re being selfish for just five pieces of bread that’s why the gods from the heavens doesn’t give you their blessings— woaaah!!]

Tsk, that was close! Good thing I was able to dodge them. There was someone waiting to block my path. These guys are stubborn, now there are four of them chasing me. In order for me to lose them, I jumped going up the houses and now I’m running on the roof. They tried to climb up and now they too are running above the houses. They really are determined to catch me. While running, I was looking for houses to help me escape and it was fortunate that I found a pile of woods and I topple it down in their path to serve as blockage. They all tumbled town and didn’t chase me again.

I shouted to them. I jumped down and pass through the narrow alleyway to ensure that they can’t catch me and can finally lose them. I was known as a skilled thief by the public that’s why I earned the title “The greatest thief in town”. Well this was our bread and butter even when Garen and I were still little kids, wait now that I remember it where did that guy went on to? We agreed on meeting in the center to collect food but looks like he again ditch me alone in the air and have gone doing something else.

Tsk, I’ll punished him when we get back home. I went inside the forest of Goesa were you can find an old hut where we live. It is located in the middle of the forest near lake Woarg. But before I reach our home, a thought came to me to go first toward the lake’s direction. The lake was known for it’s rumor that a beautiful fairy was living there. Honestly, I’m confuse if I’m to believe it or not. Is it true that a fairy lived in the lake? I’ve arrived at the lake’s threshold a few moments later, I sat on the fallen tree where I usually sit when visiting this place.

The air here was pleasant and the lake’s beauty is astonishing as if it’s bounded by magic. From where I was sitting, I can see the mountains that was perfectly shaped and surrounding it were various animals that was freely moving around to drink at the clean lake. My eyes once again gazed from afar. Was that I saw back then true or just my imagination. Then who was the one that saved me back then? The only thing I can remember was I almost drowned in this lake, Garen and I was catching fish for some grub.

I swam to the center part of the lake as we agreed that I will be the one fishing from that area. While I was swimming down the lake, my left leg cramped, I desperately tried to swim to the surface but I wasn’t able to and bit by bit ran out of air. I though that was my final day in this world, I wasn’t even able to accomplished my dream to be a great warrior. While I was running out of air and my vision was getting blurred, a woman helped me and felt something came in contact to my lips and then I finally lost consciousness. When I came to, I found myself on the lakeside. I thought of what exactly happened to me and how did I fell asleep on the lakeside. Then an obscured image came into my mind, an image of a woman. I then saw my best friend running toward me and was inquiringabout my condition. After that fateful day, I always visit this place hoping that I can again see the woman that helped me when I drowned.

[Oh Lark you’re here again, how’s the stolen goods? Did you got a bunch of them?]

I looked toward the one who just spoke, it was just Garen. He sat next to me and look at the same thing I was viewing.

[Are you still thinking about that fairy? You visit this place almost everyday but still can’t find it. You’ve also already swam every corner of this lake but there are no sign of a fairy nor a woman. Are your really sure that someone saved you? If that’s true then why didn’t they even appear to you? Don’t tell me that they are the shy type!]

And he loudly laugh. I stared at him with a mean look, whenever it is this guy is a moron. I stood up, picked up a stone, then thrown it at the lake.

[Nope, even I don’t know. I can’t even clearly remember how I was able to reach the other side and I just found myself on the lake-side. The only thing I can remember was that there was a woman who helped me then I don’t know what happened next.]

I answered him while looking from afar. If that wasn’t real then how did I survived? If she isn’t the fairy then who is she and where do she live? For as long as I lived on Garrison City where Garen and I grew up, I haven’t found someone like her, I even haven’t found anyone who looked like her. I can quickly recognize if she is the one from her uniquely colored hair. She has green hair that was similar to the color of an emerald gem. But with my constant visits into the town, I wasn’t able to find anyone with similar hair, so maybe it was really was the fairy that appeared before to same me or it might also be a traveler who was passing by.

[Lark let’s go, I’m starving. Let’s go back home, I caught three rabbits just now while strolling around the forest, not just always bread and fish…]

Haaaa really, Garen is more peevish than me. I then decided to stand up and walked away from the lake following Garen. I took a glimpse of the lake and can only just make a smile. Because I know a day will come where I could meet her.
