A moment later, they walked across the courtyard in direction of the front hall.

As soon as they approached, they heard a thick voice saying:  “If Your Highness' strong military force seized Jiangshan, could it be that you expect this old man to say something praising ?”

Upon hearing this, Nan Yan and Jian Ruocheng looked at each other and hastily walked in.

When both of them passed  the door, they caught sight of two people sitting on each side of the hall. On one side there was Yan Wang Zhu Feng, while on the other side there was a skinny old man.

Like Jian Ruocheng, he was wearing a blue cheongsam robe, it had probably been washed too many times as it had lost its color. His hair was combed meticulously, the hair and beard's color had aged with the passing of the time. His face was round shape and looked like a sturdy old pine* but his eyes were very bright.

The recent sentence was said by this old man.

Nan Yan did not dare to believe that the thick voice came from the skinny body of this old man. But it would not be surprising if he was the Jian Tongguang who was a well known person in whole world .
