Chapter 1 – Blood-Soaked Rebirth

The pale moonlight shone through the shabby window, painting a silver white halo inside the ruined temple.

Inside the temple a few burly men stood straight, surrounding a weak young lady. Her cheeks held no color, her face was bloody, and her clothes were ripped with dark red blood stains.

"Although her face is ruined, her body looks quiet tender ah."

"Such a tender beauty, this master will be going first!" Among the men, a fat man spoke out rubbing his hands in anticipation as he reached out rip the meager clothes on the young girl's body. Behind him, several of the men issued loud laughs.

At this moment, the star of the show opened her eyes and coldly glanced at the wretched man who was reaching out to her clothes.

Fatty met her eyes as she wept her gaze across the room. Unexpectedly, for a short moment the fatty felt as if his soul was about to escape from his body. He foolishly stood at his spot.

"AH!!!"

In the next moment the fatty came crashing down to the floor. His dead body hit the floor with a loud bang; his eyes were still wide open in surprise.

God knows when, a silver hairpin had become lodged within his neck.

Feng Xing Ying pulled the silver hairpin out of the man's neck. As she pulled it out, blood sprayed her and the faces of a surrounding few men.

"Dead?" The remaining four men incredulously stared at the fatty who was lying motionless on the ground. Dread crept up their hearts as they stared at Feng Xing Ying. "She's not a waste?"

"Enough nonsense, let's go together, we should be able to kill her!"

"Worst comes to worst, we'll kill her and destroy the corpse."

Within seconds, the four people had encircled Feng Xing Ying.

"Oh~~"

Feng Xing Ying's lips arched up, her tiny bloodied face grew increasingly colder as if she had crawled out of hell itself. Like a demon, her body flashed between the four villains.

After a few ups and downs, the temple once again became quiet.

Blood.

Just as she landed, blood spurted out from the necks of the four men. She sneered at the dead bodies on the ground.

Just as she turned around, her brain was bombarded with a series of images. Feng Xing Ying kneaded her temples as a splitting pain spread across her head.

She was Chinese medicine doctor in her country in the 21st century. With her two hands and a single silver needle, Feng Xing Ying could even bring the dead back to life.

However, not many people knew that these two hands that had saved so many lives had also taken countless others. Feng Xing Ying was an assassin that operated with drugs, an omnipotent killer.

The owner of this body however is the eldest daughter of the Feng Household of the Dali country, named Feng Xing Ying. However, she had lost both her parents at a young age so the house was currently being managed by her two uncles. The days she spent in the Feng household after the passing of her parents were not pleasant to say the least.

In this Dali country, only those who are able to correspond with nature and awaken spirit powers can command respect. These spirit powers can be gold, wood, water, fire, and earth. Once a person awakens their powers, they can embark on the road to becoming spiritualists.

Once spiritualists awaken their abilities, they begin their practice. Spiritualists, spirit masters, greater spirit master, mysterious spirit master, spirit king, spirit ancestor, and higher levels that even Feng Xing Ying was not aware of; these are the levels that these spiritualists must pass through.

When Feng Xing Ying was born, the legendary phoenix soared through the skies. The Tongtian pavilion had predicted that Feng Xing Ying would inevitably one day soar through the skies just like the phoenix. She would become a legend among spiritualists with unsurpassable talent.
