Chapter 6 First Fight

The big-bellied merchant’s sweat poured like rain as he begged for mercy. Unfortunately, Li Guang Yin did not even look at him, but stared at the body of the girl kneeling on the ground.

The servants standing behind Li Guang Yin had long become accustomed to their young master’s temperament. Once he gives to order to beat someone, he rarely shows mercy. So the four men continued to beat the big-bellied merchant despite his incessant screams.

“Ah.” One of the big-bellied merchant’s legs was broken by one of the servants. After letting out a scream, the pain overwhelmed him and he fainted on the spot.

The crowd at the scene have scattered into the distance long ago for fear of becoming implicated themselves.

Li Guang Yin instructed, “Take him away. His presence is an eyesore.” The servants complied and carried away the big-bellied merchants.

“Little sister, quickly lift up your head and let this brother have a look.” Li Guang Yin said with an impatient expression.

The girl timidly raised her head, once again brushing aside her hair to reveal that stunning face.

“Wow! Very obedient.” Li Guang Yin revealed a depraved light, rubbing his hands together as saliva drooled out.

“If…if the young master is willing to pay for the burial of my mother, I am willing to serve as whatever you want me to be.” The girl lay on the ground to plead, her sobbing voice really pulling at people’s heartstrings.

“That’s bad luck. Your mother is already dead. Fuck burying her. Come. Quickly follow young master. As long as you serve me well, I’ll buy you new clothes, jewelry and accessories.” Li Guang Yin said while reaching out to pull the girl.

The girl remained stubbornly devoted to her mother, evading Li Guang Yin and said, “If Young Master is not paying for my mother, then I will not leave with you.”

“Humph! You dare to defy me? Don’t you know that my temperament is not good? Obediently go back with me and maybe I’ll let you be my servant girl. If you dare resist, don’t blame me for being ruthless.” Ling Guang Yin put his hands on his hips and said somewhat out of sorts.

The girl no longer replied and stood up, but maybe she had been kneeling too long and the blood circulation was poor, she staggered back onto the ground.

“Yes, that’s more like it.” Li Guang Yin said proudly.

Unexpectedly, the girl turned around to leave without saying anything further.

“Little bitch want to run? Stop her.” Li Guang Yin shouted loudly. For the young master of the Li Family to be so casually disregarded by some nobody, it made him extremely angry. He must press this woman down until she can’t get back up.

Several of the servants stopped the girl from running away.

Li Guang Yin took two steps forward, raised his hand, and striked at the girl.

Ling Xiao ignores Li Guang Yin and his men, turns around and sees the girl still standing frozen at the scene, apparently still in shock from the turn of events.

Ling Xiao went over to her and placed the gold coins in front of the woman and said, “Take it. Give your mother a proper burial and the remaining gold coins are enough for you to start some small business.”
