Waking Up Confused (Chapter 1)

Harper's vision became more clear and she could finally see the man's face more clearlyHarper slowly opened her eyes and found a strange man hovering above her head. Although his face was blurry, she could tell he had piercing blue eyes and light milk chocolate hair. The man appeared to be yelling something at her, but she couldn't quite make out what he was saying. Was he asking her to "heal"? No, he must be asking for "help". As her vision gradually cleared, she was finally able to see the man's face more clearly. He was tall, broad-shouldered, and one hell of a good-looking man. Harper suddenly started to be more aware of what was going on. She was sitting in a cavernous storage house, with a small ring in her hand, and a good-looking man looming above her. Harper had no clue how she got herself into this situation or even what the situation was, all she knew was that she woke up in a strange place with a hot guy above her.
All of a sudden the man above her lifted her to her feet and handcuffed her hands together. Normally Harper would have just killed him but she felt too weak to do anything about her situation. She found herself being shoved into a car with bars protecting the driver from her. She blinked, still trying to process what was happening. So far she has woken up with a strange man next to her in a warehouse, and then she was being shoved into the back seat of a strange car??? Harper chuckled at what was happening because she still had no idea what the hell was happening.
In what seemed to be a couple of minutes the car had stopped at its destination.
The man opened her door, grabbed her by her handcuffs, and brought her inside a building. The building was wide with one giant ominous sliding door. The door slid open and they stepped inside...
