All he wanted to do now was check out that book and verify its contents. If it truly contained the unique circulations to grant his claws and body special powers it would greatly boost his strength. Giving him the confidence to survive even without the blood red tendrils. But the only problem now was he wanted to know more about the book but he also wanted to know more about Vampires. The contents of the book were top secret and Jason was not willing to let Ashley and Michael know of the contents whether they were truly spells or not. Jason didn't trust anybody not even Siegfried who had given him the book. He knew the phrase there is no free lunch in this world there is a catch. He just didn't know what it will be...Yet. Even if the book truly contained spells it didn't mean Jason was eager to leap right into practicing them he might have to find a quick guinea pig. Outside Ashley and Michael, of course, these two clearly had combat experience and they were already stronger with their knowledge of Beastial and Magical Spells. He wasn't about to hand over his advantage over them with two hands. If they were boosted with powerful spells they didn't know before even his red tendril form might not be enough to save him.

But after that initial spike, the emotions are tampered down as you get used to the enhancement of them. Until the releasing of the emotions during the puberty stage that Jason was about to enter. It was as if puberty multiplied thousand times over with his body undergoing a complete remodelling he would soon enter a growth period where he lusted for blood more than he ever would. His emotions would peak easily and it was the time when reckless things happen combined with the initial puberty Jason was going through his Growth Stage was bound to be blood-filled.
