"What do we do?" Imperial Physician Gao asked Ning Xiaoyao. Shadowrain was looking at her blankly, too.

Ning Xiaoyao said, "Third Rain, Supreme Commander didn't tell you what to do?"

Shadowrain shook his head. Big Boss Black took this chance to scurry out from under the bed while holding something in his mouth. He meowed at Ning Xiaoyao, who looked down and saw the blood bag she'd taken from her robes between his jaws.

"Hurry, meow!" Big Boss Black urged.

Ning Xiaoyao glared at Imperial Physician Gao before she declared, "Little Gao, you're not even as smart as my Black Tubby!"

"……." said Imperial Physician Gao. You make it sound like you had some grand plan yourself when you were just as clueless as me!

Big Boss Black jumped onto the bed with the blood bag and knelt by Ning Xiaoyao's side.

"My clothes, ah," Ning Xiaoyao lamented over the fact that she'd changed to fresh ones already before slapping the bag against her body. Once again, the scent of fresh blood filled the room, and Ning Xiaoyao plopped back down on the bed, pretending to play dead again.

Shadowrain asked uncertainly, "Is this enough?"
