Chapter 37 Part 3

This match was a mess from the beginning.  Xiang Nuan, as the support, was
powerless to make a difference. She expected that she would probably go down
a rank, but didn't want to just sit still and do nothing. So she was still hustling
about the map, trying to make the best of it.

The three weaklings were still fighting and after a while, they started to click surrender.

If four out of the five players on a team agreed to surrender, then game would
end the match, declaring the opposite team as the winner.

However, Xiang Nuan would never surrender, no matter how badly she was beaten.
She would always click decline whenever there was a suggestion for surrendering.

She discovered whenever the vote to surrender appear that there was always three
yays and two nays. One no was from her and the other one…...must come from the
other teammate who hadn't said a word since the beginning of the match.

This player was playing the champion Luna.

Luna was known as the champion “with unlimited possibilities.” If a player played her
well, Luna could fight against the entire team by herself. But most of the time, she
was too difficult for players and would lose even in a one on one.

Xiang Nuan checked the states.  This Luna had zeros across the board; she hadn't
killed anyone, had no assists, and no deaths. It wasn't impressive, but under the
circumstances of this particular match, this teammate of hers was doing quite well.
Xiang Nuan's team had died numerous times and Luna hadn't died once, it was like
a miracle.

Xiang Nuan also checked Luna's total accumulated gold and found that it was the
same as the richest player on the enemy side.

She immediately gave up on those three weaklings and decided to protect Luna.

Luna didn't let her down either. In one of the team fights, Luna single handedly killed
the entire enemy team, an ace.

Xiang Nuan knew this Luna was good, but didn't expect her to be this good.
She was stunned.

However, the burning fighting spirit of hers was soon put off-- --Luna, after aced the
enemy team, went to hide in the bushes, then went back to the spring, then stopped
moving!

Ahhh…..What was going on? Was the internet down for Ms. Luna? Or was it because
this player didn't want to play with the other teammates anymore? But she should at
least push the enemy's nexus first…...Xiang Nuan hoped Luna could come back soon
because she couldn't do it on her own……

Xiang Nuan anxiously waited for Luna to come back.

Just as she had given up hope, she saw a new line on the team chat.

Oblivion: We can win if we play nicely.

It's Nuannuan: Ohhh, Luna! Was your internet down just now? I thought you're quitting
the game!

Oblivion: No.

It took a long time for Oblivion to reply. Xiang Nuan thought about the time it took for
the first message to appear…...a strange thought popped into her head.

It's Nuannuan: Luna, it can't be that you were just typing just now?

Oblivion: En.

Again, it took a while for that one word to appear.

Xiang Nuan: ………………….

Xiang Nuan: Your typing speed and the speed you play the game don't seem to come
from the same fingers. Hahahaha.

Oblivion: ……

It's Nuannuan: Luna, don't bother replying. We all depending on you for this match.

It's Nuannuan: The other three little cuties, go play however you want to play but let
Luna have blue buff. Pats your heads~

The three weaklings were embarrassed being called cuties and being patted by
Zhang Fei.

They soon stopped bickering.

In the end Luna did lead them to victory.

Xiang Nuan was quite happy with the result of the match, a total turn around. After the
game, she added Oblivion to her friend list and was accepted quickly.

But when she tried to invite Oblivion to play another ranked game, she was turned down.

Xiang Nuan thought maybe Oblivion didn't think she was good enough? She could
understand that a sharp player like Oblivion might not take an average player seriously……

She was feeling sad when received a message from Oblivion.

Oblivion: “I'm going to transport some bricks.”

Xiang Nuan was amused by his choice of words, saying transporting bricks to suggest
that he had to go to work. She replied: Oh, oh, go ahead, go ahead. You're busy, we'll play
again when you have free time. Don't need to reply. ^ _ ^

Oblivion: En.
