Chapter 15 Part 3

Shen Zemu ordered and as he closed the menu, he suddenly heard
Lin Chuyan ask him, “Xuezhang, have you worn the Li Bai costume before?”

Shen Zemu: “En.”

Lin Chuyan answered with “Ohhhhh.” His tone seemed to deliberately
drag on. However, he had such a pleasant voice that the ton of his voice
didn't seem contentious, rather it held some lingering charm.

Shen Zemu was baffled, glanced at him, then looked over at Xiang Nuan.
Her head was bent down and her ear was slightly pink.

While they were waiting for food, Waiwai asked Lin Chuyan where he
was from. Lin Chuyan was a local from Nanshan City, just like Waiwai.
Xiang Nuan came from the neighboring city. Yao Jiamu and Shen Zemu
came from the same Z province.

Waiwai asked again where Lin Chuyan's family lived in the city.

“In the suburb.” Lin Chuyan replied.

Waiwai had noticed the worn out clothes that Lin Chuyan was wearing,
so spoke understandingly, “En, then you wait to be rich. Nowadays the
city's expanding so quickly, you'll become rich when you have to relocate.
My family lives in the old section of the city, my parents are looking forward
to the day they have to relocate.”

Lin Chuyan smiled and replied with an “en.”

Yao Jiamu asked how Lin Chuyan and Xiang Nuan got to know each other.
When she learned that they met online when playing Kings of Glory, she
got interested, “Then should the five of us play a match together? Come on.”

Xiang Nuan didn't really want to play with Yao Jiamu, especially since
Shen Zemu was here too. She felt like she would lose face in front of her god
and her love rival which would be a double dose of embarrassment for her.

Lin Chuyan glanced at Xiang Nuan. She puffed up her cheeks, the corners
of her lips bent down which made her lower lip protrude slightly out like a
small goldfish ready to blow bubbles anytime.

Lin Chuyan asked Yao Jiamu, “Xuejie, what level are you?”

Yao Jiamu: “I'm at Master. How about you?”

Lin Chuyan: “Oh, let's play when you drop back to Gold level.”

Xiang Nuan almost chuckled. He sounded like she wasn't ranked high
enough to play with him when he was ranked much lower. She had to
admit that it was the perfect combination of overbearing and impudent.

Since Lin Chuyan sounded like he was joking, Yao Jiamu couldn't really
say anything and just let it go.

In the end, they didn't play a game together.

After dinner, they walked out of the restaurant with Xiang Nuan and
Lin Chuyan ahead of the other three. Lin Chuyan told her, “You dress
like a junior high schooler.”

He truly enjoyed making her uncomfortable! Xiang Nuan already regretted
dressing like this. If she knew that she would meet up with Shen Zemu,
she would definitely dress up like a fairy.

“You dress like a beggar.” She retorted.

Shen Zemu didn't know what the two were talking about in front of them.
As the two were talking, Xiang Nuan suddenly raised her foot as if she
was going kick Lin Chuyan. Lin Chuyan bent his body almost in C shape
in order to avoid the kick and smiled back at her.

Shen Zemu felt like Xiang Nuan was especially lively today, as if a gray
pencil sketch had suddenly become colored.

Waiwai sighed, “It's so good to be young!”

Yao Jiamu couldn't believe her ears, “How old can we be? We're only
one or two years older than them!”

“Do I look frightening?” Shen Zemu abruptly asked, totally confusing
his two friends.

Lin Chuyan saw Xiang Nuan back to her dorm, then he took a taxi back
to the main campus.

After Xiang Nuan was back in her room, she asked a question which she
wanted very much to ask Lin Chuyan but was too shy to ask face to face.

It's Nuannuan: Did you push back the time for our meeting because you
wanted to prepare the gifts for me?

Chuyan: Don't flatter yourself.

It's Nuannuan: Hmph!

Xiang Nuan felt that sometimes Lin Chuyan could be really nasty but
sometimes he could be rather nice.
