The Jade Poison Immortal 4 Dragon Headed Caterpillar

Following the same procedure, the grandfather handed the blue crystal orb, over to Yan Liang. As he did so, the blue crystal orb in his hand began to shine, a dazzling blue light spread outs, but this time it is much smaller in intensity, when compared to the previous.

A cold blue flared up, previously, as moving gold characters are formed, indicating the individual spirit power level.

The father spoke up in a rather excited tone, having somewhat expected the outcome, from Yan Fen's previous awakening, he was not that surprised at all. "Yan Liang has the innate spirit power level of 5. A tad bit below, Yan Fen. He is still a genius of the Yan family none the less." The father looks at Yan Liang and Yan Fen, with eyes of admiration, and gleefulness. As they were his own blood children, that he helped gave birth to.

Yan Wu Ming said, calling out the last participant. "Next is Yan Weiying. It's your turn to get your spirit awakened." Yan Weiying replied, slightly nervous about the outcome. "Yes, grandfather."

Just like his sister, Yan Weiying inherently follows his grandfather's instructions, step by step. As his grandfather performs the spirit awakening ceremony. He performs several hand incantations, as six streams of spiritual power exit his body, pouring all of the spiritual power into Yan Weiying's body to forcefully awaken his dormant spirit.

Yan Weiying experienced warmth, unspeakably comfort. A strange sensation arises, that quickly spread to the rest of his body. A thin trace of heat permeates out from his body, as Yan Weiying instinctively became aware of the foreign power coming out from the left side of his chest, where his heart is supposedly located.

His breathing began to gradually slow down, as traces of spiritual vapor exiting Yan Weiying's mouth, exhaling outwards from within. The minuscule amounts of spirit vapor, which is visibly green in color, coagulated, until it forms a solid shape.

After a little while, the coagulated green vapor condenses, shrinking in size, until its only a little finger size marble, in the center of Yan Weiying's hand.

It started to form into the shape of a little green caterpillar, with 4 curved horn-like projections, that emerged out from its foreheads, which make it seemed all the more terrifying, but in actuality it is extremely weak and quite fragile.

The caterpillar instinctively curled into a ball shape position, having noticed the constant stares of onlookers. It's body trembles uncontrollably, the vibration passing through his hand, as it instinctively feels fear for the unknown.

Its fate is intertwined with Yan Weiying, somehow its feeling and thoughts, are then passed on to him. As they are connected, soul and body. Whatever it feels, Yan Weiying experienced it as well.

Yan Weiying glanced at the little fella, smiling wryly, feeling disappointed at it all.

With a look of dissatisfaction, shown on his face, Yan Weiying couldn't help, but feel extremely frustrated with himself.

In his sense of frustration, Yan Weiying tightens his hand, squeezing at it hardly, venting out his emotions. He didn't hold it back, but from looking at the frightened little caterpillar, wiggling in his hand. His mood softens a bit.

As he thought to himself, 'There is no use beating over spill milk. So long as I possess a bit of spirit power. No matter what amount it is. I could still be qualified in becoming a Spirit Master, but the road will a lot longer and more dangerous. It would take a lot more effort to catch up to people.' Yan Weiying deeply sighs.

He grimaced at the sight of his Status screen, after having found out how low his spirit power level is, upon awakening his spirit.

It would seem that despite Yan Weiying possessing the rare trait of having twin spirit essence. He got the short end of the stick with how low spiritual power is, but is it a blessing in disguise though.

With how low his innate spirit power is upon awakening, nobody would never expect that he has twin spirit essence.

Even if by some mere chance, Yan Weiying is able to catch up with the people, with a higher cultivation talent and training speed. They would assume that it was thanks to the cultivation resources, backed by some powerful clan. Not his own time and effort put into his cultivation.

But it's still doesn't change, the matter of fact, that his talent is trash afterall. Yan Weiying felt extremely depressed.

His grandfather right beside him, saw his apparent sad childlike expressions, on the brink of breaking into tears, as he quietly gazed at the wiggling four horned caterpillar in his hand.

It's very disheartening, and heart breaking to look at.

The grandfather looked at Yan Weiying, with warmth caring eyes, as he said. "Weiying, do you still want to check your spirit power." Apologetically, that was the final blow, as Yan Weiying looked at his grandfather in the eye, before avoiding his gaze. He replied. "There is no need to check my spirit power. As you guys already know the answer..."

The grandfather looked at him, and said. "Weiying..." Crying out his name.

Yan Weiying raises his head, to look at the crowd of onlookers once more, seeing their gaze of dissappointment and shock.

He felt a deep sense of discomfort. For the first time, ever, his feeling are as one with his spirit.

Yan Weiying quietly left the Clan Hall, avoiding people's gaze. As people move aside to let him pass. He didn't talk to anyone, as he passed by them. All he wanted was to be by himself.

Even as he passed by his siblings, he turned a blind eye to them. "Brother... Weiying..." As he stumbles back to his room.
