"Alright, Tarren Mill it is."
Lu Li just wanted to quickly finish the mission, but the System wouldn't allow it.
They would occasionally encounter people who tried to stop them, but none of them posed a real threat.
Thrall suddenly stopped when they got close to Tarren Mill and made a signal to have everyone dismount. "Be careful, we'll have to sneak in and find Taretha secretly."
They then snuck into the stable, where the accident happened.
A horse, which seemed to have been taken care of by Thrall, greeted him passionately when they entered. This was noticed by a group of patrols nearby and the others were exposed alongside.
"Fight! Finish it as soon as possible, and don't leave the vision of healers."
The stable wasn't an ideal place for battle; Lu Li could only pray that no one would die here.
The Darkmoon Card was too precious, so it would be be best to not use it at all. Lu Li also felt like the Epoch Hunter wouldn't be as easy as the two bosses from earlier. Blackmoore also hadn't appeared either, but it was difficult to say when he would.
Remulos had better be handing out some Legendary equipment after this quest.
After they had taken down these patrols, Thrall didn't bother hiding anymore. He brought Lu Li and the others straight to the position of the church.
However, Taretha was nowhere to be found within.
Lu Li felt like something was wrong; it seemed like someone else had stepped into this business before them.
It had to be the Epoch Hunter; no one else would be able to do this.
"This is a trap!" Thrall roared, then charged ahead and blocked all the sentries that were rushing in. They were surrounded by the soldiers of Tarren Mill.
"Battle-formation! Block the entrance to the church. Mr. Thrall, please don't rush out!" Lu Li shouted.
Although Lu Li couldn't command him, Thrall still listened to his advice. He wasn't stupid; the soldiers could easily kill him with their numbers.
Players could use potions and scrolls, and fought with intelligence under their commander. On the other hand, the NPC soldiers were just rushing in ahead. As long as they stood their ground, no matter how many soldiers came, they posed no threat at all.
When the last soldier died to Thrall's blades, the battle finally ended.
"If she's not here, then she has to be in the inn."
Although Thrall looked like he was in a rush, he could still calmly analyze the situation.
They rushed to the second floor of the Tarren Mill and Lu Li and the others finally saw Taretha there.
She was bound by magic chains that could only be broken by a higher-level caster.
Of course, you could kill the caster of the chains too.
"Thrall, you've escaped!" Taretha was surprised to see Thrall.
"It's thanks to these friends, but what is this evil magic? Who did this?" Thrall said frantically as he attempted to tear off these magic chains but failed. Taretha even showed an expression of pain on her face.
"As long as you're safe, Thrall."
Taretha wasn't worried about herself at all.
"Tell me, what do I do?" Thrall still hadn't grown into a great leader yet; he was helpless before a situation that he couldn't solve.
Lu Li watched the scene and felt like something burdened his heart.
After Taretha, Thrall would slowly approach the Great Chief position, but he never showed anyone the slightest hint of weakness. Unfortunately, this woman who could handle his weakness was bound for a tragic destiny.
