Ding!
A Stone!
Lu Li immediately began to pay attention as soon as he heard the sound effect. Hopefully, it wouldn't be a Fortified Stone this time.
Equipment Level Requirement -5%!
Lu Li punched the air in joy. Something that he wanted had finally dropped.
He had heard that sunken ships would drop these gemstones during the early game, but he didn't quite believe it. It only felt real after they were in his hands.
There were still eleven rooms untouched in the middle deck, like a personal treasure storage.
Under normal circumstances, it would be hard for such a place to remain secret. Normal players couldn't explore this place alone and once the guilds heard about it, there would be a mad rush to gain control of it. However, it would be almost impossible for anyone to horde this entire ship to themselves.
Amongst the twelve rooms, it would be difficult enough for one party to have two rooms to themselves.
Besides the stone, Lu Li also discovered a diary.
The diary was still readable despite being soaked in the water.
This wasn't a valuable item, but if you tossed it into an Auction, players who liked to collect things might take interest in it.
If you were lucky, you might be able to pick up a quest from reading the diary.
Lu Li was one who enjoyed collecting books, so he could add this to his own personal shelf.
He flipped through the first two pages and read them. Jenny was a Mage indeed, but quite an average one. Her job was to make fresh water and could help with monsters and pirates every now and then.
Lu Li finished off two level 55 elite monsters and opened the door to the second Room.
Sailor Chan'Risban's Storage Box.
Lu Li didn't want to gamble on his own luck. He wasn't sure if a monster would appear from the box, so he prepared himself for battle.
Before the box was even fully opened, black mist had already begun to spill out and Lu Li immediately went into Stealth to use Cheapshot.
The monster's reaction couldn't be faster than his.
Lu Li was relieved when he saw its health bar – it had around 25,000 health points. At the very most, it would be a strong elite monster, but not a semi-boss.
However, he began to realize that although the twelve rooms were tempting, how many could he actually afford to open?
Lu Li wasn't prepared to die for the sake of treasure; he wasn't the same poor boy from his previous life. His Experience bar at this point were very precious and a single piece of equipment of his was enough for an average person to live a year without any worries.
Sailor Chan'Risban wasn't hard to kill; Lu Li dealt with him at the cost of half his health.
He defeated the defending monster and began to loot the items in anticipation. At this point, he was incredibly jealous of Remnant Dream. If only she could be here too.
Sailor Chan'Risban's Sword – a Dark Gold single-handed sword that wasn't any less valuable than a gemstone.
The third room's box was called Pack of the Nameless Old Sailor.
This old sailor had to be powerful to be in a better position than the last room owner.
Lu Li wasn't sure if he could win the fight, but he didn't like the idea of returning empty handed either.
Open!
Lu Li felt like he could fight a few rounds, even if it was a semi-boss.
Nothing?
There were no monsters this time. Lu Li let out a long sigh of relief that made a cloud of bubbles in the water.
It was better that there were no monsters; he just needed to loot for items.
It was just hard to tell if the Nameless Old Sailor would drop anything valuable.
