The Game Warrior Volume 1 Chapter 34

Chapter 34 Selling for money

In the market, Dugu Hong sat idly on the ground. In front of him, there was equipment scattered and placed on the ground for sale.

In fact, there was nothing much to sell. The most common equipment lamas in the mountain temples dropped were wooden fished, green lama cloth, lama robes and the Buddha beads. These were for the usages of monks. Although Buddhism was flourishing in Dali city, monks were mostly in the Shaolin Temple because nowhere else could they find a better place for martial arts training.

Dali Chongsheng Temple was also famous in the world. Unfortunately, it was a royal temple. If one was not tonsured by the Duan's family, he would never get the chance for advanced martial arts training. Dali Chongsheng Temple was basically a place only for the Duan's.

Even so, it was not worth it selling the items to npc directly. There was only one word to describe the system store—mean. So Dugu Hong had a banner behind him making it clear: selling at NPC price × 4, with a few extra lines: looking for one-year Peng, Purple Grass, Wild Citron, Unicorn, Natural Grass, Gold Silk, Sorrel Leaves & Roots, Soil Achyranthes...at NPC price ×6.

Although the system store was mean, the products it sold had a good cost-effect combination. Basically, Dugu Hong was still selling at 2/3 of the market price. Of course, there were also some good items in fornt of Dugu Hong. Maybe it was because Dugu Hong had been rewarded with too much purple equipment, he didn't care about these small items anymore.

As for the price he offered to buy medicines, 6 times was definitely a very high price. But nowadays gamers mostly belonged to one organization. Most of the collected items were circulated within their organization and were not allowed to sell to the market. Hence, it was difficult to get what Dugu Hong was looking for unless for a high price.

He was not a professional gamer who came to the gaming world to earn money. He wanted to revenge. So he can't waste time on bargaining. But money was a good thing after all. He couldn't take revenge empty-handed. He was making a balance between time-saving and money making.

Non-Buddha supplies were sold out quickly. No one bargained. No one even talked. The price for these items were so cheap that buyers just gave out money and took the items away. But none of the Buddha supplies had been sold.

Sure enough. Why didn't he sell the Buddha supplies to the system stores? He could accept a cheap price. While Dugu Hong was thinking about his plan B, there was a loud voice like the thunders, "Hey, great items! Buddha beans which adds 3 points of Buddism experience. Wooden fish that adds 8% of Buddhism experience. After having shopped at so many places, it was my first time seeing these great items!"

"Hey seller, I will take all these items."

Dugu Hong looked up at the potential buyer in an unfriendly way. He first saw two thick thighs like trunks, then a bear waist, a tiger's back, a clump of messy hustle, with a bloody mouth cracked open, staring at the items with egg big eyeballs...

This was a living Lu Zhishen, a monk who looked for women. Dugu Hong suddenly didn't know how to respond.

This Lu Zhishen alike monk had his hands reach into this check pocket, trying to pull out something. But he couldn't pull out anything. His face turned from yellow to white, then from white to red. After a little while, he finally said, "Treasurer, I don't have enough money. Can you..."

Dugu Hong didn't want to open his mouth and referred to the banner above his head. It read, "No Bargain."

He was not sure if the Lu Zhishen alike monk saw the banner. But the monk ran away, "I have all the medicines you are looking for. All of them. I will go to the bank to withdraw the medicines. Can you please keep these stuff? I will be back soon."

Watching the monk run away, Dugu Hong was dumbfounded. He didn't know if the monk deliberately pretended to be like that or it was of his nature. In games, anything could be possible.

He started to organize this stall slowly, preparing to go back after the transaction with the Lu Zhishen alike monk. All of a sudden, the surroundings darkened. A group of seven to eight gamers blocked him in the corner.

"What's up?" Dugu Hong was a little shocked. Did they figure out my identity? He touched his face to make sure his face was still a faked one.

He heard the only one police gamer said with no expression: "Selling low-priced items is banned. Little Birdy Dugu, you have violated the Dali City market management regulations. We have the right to confiscate all your income. Otherwise, you have to go the government with us."

"What are you talking about?... Hey, haha!" Dugu Hong was stunned, and didn't realize what was going on after at least five seconds.

Wiping the saliva on his face, the police had a bit of anger on his face, "Attacking public servants. Your violation is one level more serious. I will double your fines and lengthen your sentence in the prison."

"Excuse me, who are you? Like city management?" Dugu Hong asked while slowly cleaned up his stall.

"Sh*t! You dared to curse me. You are looking to be dead. Why don't you ask around who we are?" The several gangsters were furious and started to push Dugu Hong. The word of city management was indeed a discrimination on them.

Dugu Hong had a flash of anger in his eyes. He remained smiling, bent his left leg and started to circle with his right arm.

In the heart of the policeman, he had a shock. He mostly stayed in the city and had experienced a lot. So the careless look on Dugu Hong's make actually alerted him.

"Hey, what are you group of people doing here? I need to get inside to buy items. Get away!" Outside the gangsters, there was the Lu Zhishen alike monk shouting.

The monk was fast. Dugu Hong only thought that the monk was strong in strength. It turned out he was also very agile. Dugu Hong was slightly shocked and put down his hands.

The attributes in "The martial world" were related to the characters. The character of the Lu Zhishen alike Monk had thick skin and big waist, which indicated at least level 18 strength. The agility attribute was affected by one's body shape. The more uniform the body shape was, the more agile one was. So Dugu Hong guessed that under the monk's robe, he must have a full body of fine muscles.

"There is no more sales. Get away quickly." The gangsters waved at the monk impatiently.

"You guys are not kind!" The monk's big eyes glimpsed. "The treasure is here. I had a deal with him. What do you plan to do? Forced selling?"

"No. They are robbing me." Dugu Hong spred his hands and made a look of helplessness.

"What?" The monk shouted, like a thunder, "You group of thieves. You are unlucky bumping into me!" The crescent shovel was lifted up and cut down like patting on flies. One poor gangster was cut into pieces and miserably turned into light.
