It was a night like any other. Nothing unusual happened today at work. I woke up, showered, went to work, worked and finished. No excitement whatsoever. I have no wife or a girlfriend even.

The path home is never crowded but never empty. It was a nice and calming walk home. It was unusual that tonight it was empty.

Sure, there were the occasional person passing but it was as if I was not informed of something. It doesn't matter. I just need to go home, eat, shower and sleep.

As I approached the corner of the path, I hear a muffled scream coming from the alleyway. My adrenalin kicked in. I wanted to run away but I was intrigued by what could be going on around the corner. There was a strong smell of garbage and another scent I didn't recognize. I took out my phone from my back pocket and turned on the flashlight. Nothing looked out of the ordinary, just bags of trash stuck against the base of the wall.

The inexplicable smell was getting stronger and stronger. I pointed the flashlight to the ground to make sure I don't accidentally step on some shit or rotten fruit. I take a few more steps forward until I notice a female mannequin's leg sticking out from a pile of garbage bags. I took a closer look. I started vomiting uncontrollably.

At that moment I realized that the mannequin leg isn't a mannequin leg but is actually a real skin and flesh. The stench was thick and powerful. I was getting dizzy. I couldn't stop myself from vomiting. My mouth felt as if it was melting. It was until a second ago it stopped. Along with my life.
