Super Electric Eel Avatar Chapter 33: Whale Shark

The visibility of the sea decreased tremendously at night and Chen Fan could barely see but a few meters in front of him. After a hearty meal, Chen Fan controlled the electric eel toward the deep waters. 

Although the giant squid was not a rare creature, it was hardly ever captured by man. There had been many occurrences of fishermen seeing it fight with the sperm whale in the deep seas. To these fishermen, capturing it was extremely difficult, but it was not so complicated for Chen Fan. As long as he could find it, there was a high chance of capturing it.

Two million RMB! Chen Fan was excited just thinking about it… I'll get a one million RMB Mercedes 7 Series, get Wang Bing to be the chauffeur, and get Zhang Lele to dress in an all-black uniform… damn this is too much!

Lalala lalala, I'm a happy little donkey! Chen Fan sang in his heart as he controlled the eel's movement. It was a little quiet in the ocean at night, only a few creatures were still active. The nine-meter long electric eel was like a loud passing train, alarming the surrounding sleeping creatures with its electric discharge.

It was amusing that Chen Fan bumped into no less than ten brightly lit fishing boats during this half an hour journey. From the reflection on the water surface, he was able to see the fishermen who were casting nets with all their efforts and hoping to strike it rich overnight.

Go on and cast more nets. I can just wait here and benefit from it. Chen Fan was filled with devious thoughts. The speed of the electric eel avatar in the ocean had already reached twenty knots, which was around thirty-seven kilometers per hour. If he put in his best to move forward, the speed could go even higher.

After taking in a deep breath, Chen Fan reduced the electric current on the eel's body and only maintained it at a level where he could sense over ten meters of the surrounding area so as not to alarm any giant squid which could be swimming nearby.

Finding a giant squid also required certain techniques. Giant squids usually liked to eat prawns, crabs and small fishes. Therefore, whenever Chen Fan saw groups of small fishes and prawns, he would stop the electric current on the eel's body immediately and hang quietly behind the groups of small fishes and prawns as he waited for the giant squid to come for its food.

Chen Fan had already quietly followed the countless groups of small sardines in front of him for more than one hour. However, other than a few normal squids which came for their food, he had not seen anything that was longer than two meters. Just as Chen Fan was about to give up and look for his next target, he suddenly caught a glimpse of a huge shadow approaching. Oh God...you...you really treat me so well! Chen Fan stared at that huge shadow as the eel's heart thumped nonstop!

Due to the poor visibility of the ocean at night, Chen Fan had yet to figure out what exactly the thing was that was swimming over to him! The eel avatar suddenly shot toward the approaching shadow without control and covered the thirty-meter distance in just two breaths. Not only that, when the electric eel reached in front of the huge shadow, the electric current on its body suddenly shot up to the maximum, reaching a shocking 2,300 volts.

With a thunderous sound, the ten-meter long, huge creature started shaking all over, like a cat whose tail had been stepped on. Heck, why is it such a softy? After releasing a series of fierce electric currents, Chen Fan realized that it was a whale shark which had been reputed as both "the world's largest and also the weakest fish"!

The whale shark was a type of shark which could grow to around sixteen meters at maturity. Although it had a huge appetite, it was actually weaker than herbivores. Even if a person shot it with a gun, it would probably hide in one corner and weep in silence.

I knew it...I can't possibly be so lucky! Chen Fan shook his tail helplessly as he looked at the whale shark which escaped faster than a tuna fish. It was really frustrating to have met with this cowardly fellow!

The whale shark which weighed a few tons was able to take over two thousand volts discharge, but this was not the same for those tiny sardines. Countless numbers of them turned their white bellies upside down, as if they had been given pesticides, and floated to the water's surface. On top of that, after the mess caused by the two sea creatures, the schools of sardines had scattered while trying to escape.

Having no other choice, Chen Fan could only turn his tail around to look for the next group of fishes. Many fishes could be seen everywhere in the ocean. After swimming for over ten minutes, Chen Fan found another sardine group of considerable number. Chen Fan reduced the area of the released current and hung quietly nearby as he waited for the giant squid to fall into the trap.

Sardines were a typical "ocean breed", and all carnivorous fishes like to take advantage of them. After waiting for two hours, Chen Fan saw no less than twenty waves of carnivorous fishes coming to prey on them.

Damn, my brain's gone dead with all the staring! Chen Fan cursed as he turned his body to go back. On his return journey, the number of fishing boats was significantly reduced. There were only two or three which refused to give up and were still casting their nets. It was already after three in the morning when he finally settled the eel and shifted his thoughts back.

"I'll go underwater during the day tomorrow to look for caves and see if I can find any giant squid!" After giving his tired head a rub, Chen Fan threw his blanket over him and fell asleep straight away.

The next morning, Chen Fan was awoken by a series of knocks on the door.

"Boss, it's already 9:30, should we get up and go for breakfast?"

"Okay...up right away…" Chen Fan replied lethargically and continued sleeping.

Knock knock knock…

"Boss, it's already 10:00, I'm famished, should we…" Wang Bing's grumbling came from outside the door again.

"I'm getting up...getting up!" Chen Fan replied and continued sleeping. After a short while, when Chen Fan was still in his dreams, his blanket was suddenly removed by someone!

"Who's that?" Chen Fan suddenly sat up and his right hand was about to go for the pistol under the pillow. However, he saw Wang Bing grinning beside him, clenching the mattress.

"How did you come in?" Chen Fan was in cold sweat. "Didn't I lock the door from inside?"

"As a bodyguard well-versed in all methods of killing a person, how could I not know how to come in from a locked door?" Wang Bing raised his left hand and spun the steel wire held by his thumb and ring finger.
