Ye Tianming chuckled sinisterly, causing Chen Donghua to shudder as he thought to himself, this brat can’t really want to be a military region commander, right?

“Chief, since you said that, then I won’t be courteous. You at least need to give me a senior colonel.”

“Pei!” Cheng Zhonghua spat out all of the tea he drank onto the table as he stared at Ye Tianming. He pointed at Ye Tianming with trembling hands and said, “You really just don’t say stuff that doesn’t scare people to death. I’m telling you, the most I can give you is a colonel rank.”

“Deal,” Ye Tianming slapped his thigh very straightforwardly and said.

Chen Donghua momentarily blanked, then immediately understood that he had been played by Ye Tianming. After all, to a 20 years old soldier, a major rank was already very impressive. What’s more, Ye Tianming didn’t transfer over normally, letting him leave his rank here was very advantageous for the future.

As for what Ye Tianming said about wanting the rank of a senior colonel, that was just bullshitting, if he could get it, then it’s great, it wasn’t an issue if he couldn’t.

Chen Zhonghua’s face turned as dark as the bottom of wok as he said in annoyance, “You brat actually tricked me.” With that, he chuckled wryly, “Alright, alright, I’ll keep my promise. Go back first, I’ll give you the appointment notice later this afternoon.”

“Yes, sir!” Ye Tianming stood up and gave a proper salute. “Chief, then I’ll be going, hurry up and send me the appointment notice, only then can I work confidently.”

Chen Zhonghua glared at him, wanting to say something, but he saw Ye Tianming dash out of the office like a rabbit, disappearing in the blink of an eye.

Chen Zhonghua watched as Ye Tianming wobble on the streets through the window, feeling rather troubled. He could only shake his head helplessly as he picked up the phone, “Old Long, this is Old Chen. Do you remember how I told you that I would borrow someone from Qin Dahai to help us train? That old fellow agreed to get Ye Tianming to train for us. The brat also agreed, but I got tricked by him.”
