She wanted to save Ye Qin because she owed her for raising her. If Ye Qin were to act as she did before even after being saved, then Jing Yunzhao will no longer care about the feelings of mother and child.

Qiao Weimin heard this and laughed through his nose. Her prescription might not even be reliable, but even if it could save Ye Qin, he wouldn’t agree.

This doctor was in his sixties. Jing Yunzhao had seen him before when she came to the hospital with Ye Qin.

Ye Qin had seemed out for his treatment before. He gave a few prescriptions, but he also told her that her illness needed 30% treatment and 70% rest. He told her that she could not rush it. But Ye Qin was scared that she wouldn’t last long like that. She stopped believing in him after a few days and sought out a Western doctor.

When Ye Qin found out that the Western doctor couldn’t cure her completely, she returned to the Eastern doctor. But she had already missed the chance for treatment. The doctor was willing to help but he just couldn’t.

“Little girl, you look familiar…” The old doctor looked at her and said.

“Doctor Gan (甘), I am Jing Yunzhao. My mother is Ye Qin. She came to you before…” Jing Yunzhao finished and pulled out a paper. “My mother’s in a dangerous condition right now. I found a prescription. Can you look at it and see if it can help her?”

Doctor Gan looked at her curiously. Strange things happen every year, but this year especially had a lot.

There’s always people coming to him for treatment, but this was the time that someone has come to him to have him look at a prescription.

But he remembered this girl. A very dutiful daughter. When her mother was hospitalized, she worked hard to care for her, leaving all the doctors in the hospital a good impression.

He received the paper and looked.

His face turned cold. “Little girl! Where did you get this?”

“My shifu (T/N: master) taught to me, but shifu left to wander about. I don’t know much. This can only prolong her illness but not cure it.” Jing Yunzhao said anxiously. It was only an excuse.

But this was the first time that she’s used a prescription taught by the ancestor. She didn’t know if she found the right one or not.

He was really stupid! Why hadn’t he thought of using this prescription?!

What doctor Gan said shocked teacher Jin. She didn’t know what to say.

“Come. Let’s go see your mother…” Doctor Gan said hurriedly.
