The instant his hand came into contact with the stone slab, the seeming-ordinary stone slab suddenly flashed with a bright light. Suddenly, Ling Chen clearly felt an incredibly substantial wave of energy flow up from the stone slab and go through his arm into his entire body. Finally, it reached his head and crashed into his mind.  

Ling Chen's mind went blank, and the scene in front of him became completely white. However, Ling Chen's mind was still completely clear. He felt that this was not a mental attack, but rather, an external power was trying to fill his mind with a powerful wave of mental energy. If he could withstand it, this energy would be his to use. However, if his mental energy was not strong enough and he could not resist this energy, then his mind would explode like a balloon… this energy would explode, and his mind would also be damaged. If the damage was light, he would temporarily lose consciousness, but if it was severe, his mind might dissipate, and he would become a vegetable.

As such, even though Ling Chen and Fey's mental energies had reached the level of 'gods', because of their body's restrictions, they could not manifest the true might of their mental energies.   

As an analogy, a normal person's mental energy was like a balloon that was blown to the size of a soccer ball. Ling Chen's 'balloon' was the size of a lake, but with Ling Chen's current strength, he was unable to blow that 'balloon' to the size of a lake, wasting most of his power due to his body's limits. However, if a powerful external energy was sent into a normal person, their balloon would explode, while Ling Chen's would expand to its true potential.  

As Ling Chen calmed down, the wave of energy flooding in became more peaceful. The feeling that his mind was being assaulted gradually disappeared, and his vision and hearing slowly returned to normal. Finally, Ling Chen could only feel a stream of warmth joyously rushing into his body until the light in the stone slab disappeared.

The number of seconds the effect lasts for is equivalent to the user's Comprehension stat; maximum number of targets is everyone within the user's vision and detection. Can be used an unlimited number of times. Costs 10 MP, cooldown time: 100 seconds.  

[Descending Sovereign Curse]: Advanced level Feng Chen Murdering Heart Curse, cannot be levelled up. It is the upgraded version of the [Deity Curse], and it can be cast upon multiple targets within one's field of vision. The targets will believe anyone chosen to be a descended sovereign, and they will worship the 'sovereign' and obey all orders. The success rate is dependent on the difference in strength between the user and target's mental energy and their overall strength. The number of seconds the effect lasts for is equivalent to the user's Comprehension stat; maximum number of targets is everyone within the user's vision and detection. Can be used an unlimited number of times. Costs 10 MP, cooldown time: 100 seconds.  

[Heart Murdering Soul Executing Curse]: Advanced level Feng Chen Murdering Heart Curse, cannot be levelled up. Can be used on multiple targets within the user's vision or detection. It forcefully stimulates the targets to feel either hopelessly depressed, outrageously joyful, madly hysterical, utterly despairing, or absolutely berserk, and they will maintain that emotion or emotions. The success rate is dependent on the difference in strength between the user and target's mental energy and their overall strength. The number of seconds the effect lasts for is equivalent to the user's Comprehension stat; maximum number of targets is everyone within the user's vision and detection. Can be used an unlimited number of times. Costs 10 MP, cooldown time: 100 seconds.  

[Ultimate Sheepy Curse]: Advanced level Feng Chen Murdering Heart Curse, cannot be levelled up. It is the upgraded version of the [We're All Sheep Curse], and it can be cast upon multiple targets within one's field of vision. All targets will think that they are a sheep. The success rate is dependent on the difference in strength between the user and target's mental energy and their overall strength. The number of seconds the effect lasts for is equivalent to the user's Comprehension stat; maximum number of targets is everyone within the user's vision and detection. Can be used an unlimited number of times. Costs 10 MP, cooldown time: 100 seconds.  

[Body Cleansing Wild Dance Curse]: Advanced level Feng Chen Murdering Heart Curse, cannot be levelled up. Can be used on multiple targets within the user's vision or detection, and the targets will take off all of their clothes and start dancing. The success rate is dependent on the difference in strength between the user and target's mental energy and their overall strength. The number of seconds the effect lasts for is equivalent to the user's Comprehension stat; maximum number of targets is everyone within the user's vision and detection. Can be used an unlimited number of times. Costs 10 MP, cooldown time: 100 seconds.  

Feng Chen Forbidden Curse:  

[Yama Curse]: Ultimate Feng Chen Murdering Heart Curse, cannot be levelled up. In the legends from the ancient True God times, the being with the greatest mental energy was the Yama King, who looked down on all creatures. The Yama King reaped tens of thousands of souls every day, and the energy of the souls caused his mental energy to become boundless. However, anything in excess can have the opposite intended effect. The Yama King's mental energy became more powerful than he could control, resulting in it scattering, and the Yama King was forever forgotten. Yama's power has become synonymous with the highest level of one's mental energy.  

Effects: Can only be used on the user. It madly increases one's own mental energy for a period of time, causing all of the user's Feng Chen Murdering Heart Curses within the next 10 minutes (including the Feng Chen Forbidden Curses) to not have any cooldown times or restrictions, and it causes them to have certain success. Costs 10 MP. After the effects end, the user will lapse into a severe lethargic mental state. Can be used at most (level/25) times (rounded down). Current number of uses available: 3/3.
