"Seriously? giving me card to though me away? You are making me bored. Your tricks are old and lame. Don't you have anything better?' Pei thought if cause she couldn't say them out loud.

"Sister, I will take good care of mom and dad you will not need to worry you... go!" Mercy said.

She was afraid Pei, might change her mind and stay back.

Pei's lips curved slightly, and it seems that she has seen through everything with her pair of clean and charming eyes.

Mercy was a little afraid to see Pei like this. Though Pei might appear to be casual, but her domineering aura made her like a queen on top, and this is what Mercy hate the most.

Pei looked at the card on father Qin's hands and smiled.

Everyone thought that she was going to accept the card but she just wave her hands.

All the people present including Rossy were stunned. After a while she said angrily . "Pei what are you doing is it not enough that you smashed your sister's necklace and threw it away and now you are rejecting this card too? don't tell me that you are planning to bring back those villagers her to leach on us?

Let me worn you i will not allow that to happen" She felt wronged and felt that Pei looked down on them.

"She gave it to me and so i threw it away, it was my thing, my necklace." She raised her eyebrows and looked at Rossy and said. "I didn't take anything you bought to me over the years."

she couldn't care less over a mare necklace.

"I bought the clothes am wearing as well as the things in my backpack by myself and you should know that have never touched the things you bought me, I didn't want to owe you over the years since I knew you never loved me"

Pei's words made one of the nanny sneered and said.

"You bought them yourself but Mr. Qin and Mrs. Qin gave you the money!"

"Why should I tell you where I got the money? Don't tell me you want to follow me for my money?" Pei teased them.

"You...!"

"Do your job and be a good nanny. The rest is non of your business not unless you want to be the madam of the house." Pei said.

She knew Rosy will not take this lying low and sure the nanny received an ugly eye from her.

"No, no no, Mrs. Qin, I dare not think like that, don't take her words seriously she is joking" she pleaded.

"You dare not or you haven't found the opportunity?" Pei said.

The nanny was pissed off yet she could do nothing to Pei.

"Enough!" Tyrel could not take it anymore he signed . He wanted to smooth things over and said, "Pei it's time I will send you off "

"No need, Mr. Qin save it."

Pei addressed Mr. Tyrel as "Mr. Qin" she was deliberately distancing herself from them.

Rossy sneered and thought ' You damn girl. you haven't been to Hidalgo county. so you have no idea how life is over there. You can't wait to draw a line on the sand now? Don't regret it! Don't came back to us, begging us to take you back.'

"Mr. Qin aren't you going to check her backpack, the things in it are..." The nanny who spoke earlier reminded Tyrel, unwilling to let Pei go.

"That is not necessary." Tyrel was the richest man in city M anyway. He thought 'even if Pei did steal something I won't say it out loud. I won't do something degrading such as searching her bag'

Pei carried her backpack and walk out of the door where a black car was parked.

What was eye catching was that clearly the car has been hit before. The rear hood was cocked up, and the cars body was dented.

Also windshield was a little cracked.

The driver got out of the car in somewhat sorry state. His glasses were tilt to one side obviously broken.

He was slightly stunned when he saw Pei at first sight.

'She is clearly a THOMSTON, she is more like madam' he thought. she is stunning, she has delicate eyebrows and an exquisite nose making her so charming she is her younger version. But I think she more stunning and imposing than Mrs. Thomston back then.'


"I am sorry miss Pei, I was rear- headed by a truck and hit the railing. I was afraid of wasting your precious time, So i didn't go home to change the car. But don't worry there is nothing wrong with the car, I have personally checked it . It just doesn't look nice at all but it is okay." He said sweat dripping down his forehead.

He didn't realize it but his words indicated a lot of things.

Pei thought, 'They told me my home county is poor, how can we afford a car? If I am not mistaken this car right in front of me is a customized Rolls-Royce Supreme, and there are only one in the world. It is worth 16 million dollars.'

Pei smiled meaningfully and said in a low charming voice. " Care to tell me more?"

"Sure. You are the sixth kid in your family, and you have five elder brothers," the diver said and hit his head " Look at me i forgot to tell you who i am , I am Ricky Poland, and am the family driver"

Pei thought ' so even my so poor family has a driver this is very interesting'

I guess my biological family isn't as bad as the Qin family made it sound.

"Ms. Pei where is your luggage?" seeing that Pei was only carrying a backpack, Ricky was puzzled. "It is inside i will get it for you."

"No need. it's all here" Pei didn't have much luggage at all. She sounded languid.

Ricky nodded. " You can get into the car. I will take the gift Mr. and Mrs. Thomston entrusted to me inside, there after we will leave afterv expressing their gratitude towards your foster parents."

Ricky pulled the handle of the back door to invite Pei in.

Unexpectedly, the net second, the car door shock and fell.

It was because of the accident earlier. The truck broke the car door hard.

It was at this time that the Qin's walk outside that they saw the scene.

Mercy thought. ' What an eye- opener! what crappy car is this? Is the hand made of paper? How can someone go out and drive such a piece of crap? What a joke!

She thought how can someone drive this kind of car out? I might as well be dead to drive this kind of a car.

The man probably borrowed the car after realizing that we are the richest family, they want to be on our circle? dream on.

However, he is bad at driving and had a car accident.

If that's true , things will be more interesting, if he returns the car, it is not only damaged but he will also pay a lot of money.
