Raccoon’s axe collided with Jeras’ white shield. Jeras’ shield started to crack from the moment Raccoon’s axe touched it. The white shield was broken like glass shattering. Raccoon’s axe advanced relentlessly. It was toward Jeras’ arm that was stretched above his head and toward the head below it.

There was an explosion and Raccoon’s axe stopped. It didn’t stop by itself. A white hand was in contact with the end of Raccoon’s axe. The owner of the white hand was a handsome man with gray hair.

“Your life is too precious to die like this, Jeras.” The man’s name was Luke. He was the chief of the god tribe, or ra tribe, and at the same time, the one called a god.

“God...” Jeras sighed deeply at his savior’s appearance. He had just stepped on the threshold of death. It was one of the few crises he experienced during his reign as king of the god tribe.

“As expected, you showed up. This posh bastard who doesn’t know the subject.”

Raccoon retrieved his axe and burst out laughing. There was no regret on Raccoon’s face. The attack on Jeras’ could’ve failed from the beginning. Of course, it would be better if he had killed Jeras, but his main purpose was to bring Luke here.

Raccoon already couldn’t remember Hyeonu’s words. He erased Hyeonu’s advice the moment he saw Jeras. It would be the end of the ra tribe if he killed Luke and Jeras.
