Looking at the Zhu WuXin lying on the bed, her eyes immediately turned red.
She held Zhu WuXin’s hand and asked, “WuXin meimei, do you still remember me? I am Ning Huang jiejie.”

[Translator note : I’ll stop holding on to the Sister term, and start using the chinese word instead. I think it sounds more natural.
For those who don’t know, Jiejie means Elder Sister while Meimei means younger sister.]

Zhu WuXin squeezed her hand a bit to signal that she remembered.

Ning Huang rubbed her eyes a bit, not staying inside any longer and rushed out shouting, “Father, how can you do that to her!”

Finishing her words, Ning Huang didn’t look at them anymore and turned to the Crown Prince, “Brother, we immediately go back to the palace to get her some treatments.”

He nodded, and helped Ning Huang put on her coat then packed up to leave.

Nobody can hear what was said between those two.
But everyone saw the moment Crown Prince went away, Zhu Hou’s face instantly paled.

A great birthday party, was completely destroyed.

“Father, didn’t you told me that WuXin was married? What is going on with the incident happened today?”, Zhu Mo asked Zhu Hou in person after all the guests dispersed to leave.

Zhu Hou said in a deep voice, “These days I was busy with JiLan’s birthday celebration, completely forgotten about her. This old man didn’t think that the Crown Prince would found her”

Not speaking, Zhu Mo gave him a cold snort.

Zhu Hou looked at him and said, “You should hurry up to find Ning Huang, can’t offend Ning Huang just because of the wretched girl.”

After saying that, Zhu Mo flapped his sleeves and left.
Zhu Hou looked at the chaotic and disorderly condition of the inner hall, his face getting paler and paler.

[2] : 看錯你們倆父子了 – The word 看錯 here means seen wrongly literally. But it means in English as “I was wrong about you”

[3] : 睜一隻眼閉一隻眼 – Idiom, meaning turn a blind eye

[4] : 陸良 – This actually referring to Doctor Lu but the word after the surname Lu means kind/good/conscience so I can’t make a word for it ^^;; (Unless Lu Liang is the full name for Doctor Lu)
