Time passed by quietly. It was already close to daybreak and a golden rim of clouds began to appear on the eastern skies, announcing that the first ray of sunlight would break through any moment now. The eastern skies began to brighten as the first ray of sunlight prepared to cast itself over the land. The light of the formation over the smalls tone bridge began to loosen and Grand Elder Jing Guang could already feel the movement of some Qi—the opening of the formation pivot was fast approaching.

Just at that crucial moment, a pitiful, fear-filled voice abruptly rosed up from the distant forest. "Grand Elder… help me, Grand Elder…." When Jing Fu heard this voice, she was extremely surprised and looked at where the voice had come from. Even Grand Elder Jing Guang was a bit surprised and looked up with confusion towards the source.

Within the forest, an elderly man in grey rags was suddenly staggering towards them. He was heavily wounded and covered in tattered clothing matted with blood and flesh, and he ran towards them as though being chased by some kind of ghost.

While still holding on to the old servant, a person slowly walked out from the forest, revealing thin silhouette with messy hair and a malicious aura that gave him the impression of a devil with impressive power and arrogance.

Jing Fu instantly shot to her feet when she saw this, her face paling in fright. "Uncle Hong?" What was happening? She'd only given an order to kill an early-Foundation Stage brat; why was Uncle Hong returning in such a dire state? How could that brat have such ability that Uncle Hong ended up like this? She didn't even think these questions through and quickly rushed forward while yelling, "Let go of Uncle Hong!"

Fang XIng sneered. "Let him go?" Covered in blood like this, his terrifying presence had only increased. Where the formation had once been sealed shut, a door began to open up with a flow of ambient Qi pouring out as though from a utopian realm.

"The Mysterious Domain has opened; prepare to enter!" Grand Elder Jing Guang commanded to his juniors while turning. Nearby, all the youths of his Jing Guang branch screamed in excitement and joy before quickly making their way onto the small stone bridge.

"Grand Elder, Uncle Hong…?" Jing Fu concernedly asked as she came near Grand Elder Jing Guang.

Grand Elder Jing Guang showed a heartfelt smile before sending a sharp glare at Fang Xing without placing any importance on him. "What is there to worry about? Quickly enter the Mysterious Domain; this brat doesn't dare to hurt a single hair of my Jing clansmen in front of me!" Jing Guang didn't believe this boy would truly dare to hurt anyone in front of him, and he didn't see the life of this old servant as too important, either. The main priority right now was to send his own juniors inside, but once he was free to do as he wished, a small Foundation Stage kid would be nothing more than a grasshopper in his hands—how could this boy escape then?
