dork only cares about eating! And it is really greedy!"
Zhang Zian thought for a moment and came up with an idea.
"Give me some jerky. You have jerky here, right?" he asked.
Sun Xiaomeng said hesitantly, "Yes, but what are you going to do? Use jerky to lead it over?"
"None of your business, just bring me the jerky," Zhang Zian said confidently.
Sun Xiaomeng fetched the jerky and handed it to him.
Zhang Zian put the jerky on the ground, and then surrounded it by placing the wide-end of the Elizabeth collar in the shape of a bell mouth on the ground. He said to Sun Xiaomeng and Jin Er, "Let’s move away."
The three of them retreated to the door, leaving the Elizabeth collar that had surrounded the jerky in the center of the waiting area.
Sun Xiaomeng had figured out Zhang Zian's intention, and she asked doubtfully, "Will this work?"
"Rest assured, I’m sure, at least 80% sure." Zhang Zian said quite confidently. Since this Husky was dorky and greedy, there’s no reason it would not swallow the bait.
Long Xian was bent over behind the cashier desk, staring nervously at the scene and holding her breath.
Good-for-Nothing sniffed, and its moist nasal mucosa was in constant contact with the air molecules. Its keen sense of smell, which was thousands of times more sensitive than that of humans, had smelled the jerky, which was its favorite, and it couldn’t help but begin to drool.
These stupid humans!
It carefully observed the spots of the four human beings. Every one of them was very far away from it, and was far away from the jerky. At its speed, it could totally put the jerky into its mouth and run away.
Just do it!
It crouched, rushing to the jerky quickly like a thief. As for the strange thing that was placed upside-down, it could just ignore that, right?
Good-for-Nothing walked around the Elizabeth collar several times, confirming that the four humans would not come over to disrupt it, and it lowered its head into the Elizabeth collar to taste the jerky as it wished for. However, when it looked up, chewing the jerky in its mouth, the Elizabeth collar had been stuck onto its neck tightly.
It looked around in bewilderment, as if saying, damn it, that’s not how the story was supposed to end?
Though Jin Er, who knew about his dog’s stupidity, had prepared for this, he still felt quite embarrassed by it. How could it be so foolish to fall into such a simple trap…
Zhang Zian had simply taken advantage of the features of the Elizabeth collar and the Husky’s greediness. Other people couldn’t think outside the box— dogs can put on Elizabeth collars by themselves!
After wearing the Elizabeth collar, Good-for-Nothing became despondent and looked at Jin Er with a grieving expression, whimpering at him as if saying, "Excuse me? I trust you as a friend, yet you set up a trap to trick me?!"
Out of unknown reasons, many dogs and cats hated Elizabeth collars very much, and would experience drastic temper changes after wearing them. It seemed like this was also true with this Husky.
"See? This is the invitation to stepping into the jar!" Zhang Zian said triumphantly.
Others were rather speechless about his pretentious attitude, but they indeed had nothing to say about this.
He accomplished the task effortlessly. Though he just resorted to trickery, Sun Xiaomeng and others felt they had learned something from the tricks, especially Jin Er. he decided that if Good-for-Nothing dared to be mischievous again, he would use this approach to punish it.
"If there’s nothing else, I’m leaving now." Zhang Zian excused himself, for there were so many things at home that he needed to deal with, Richard might need him to help train the two red-headed lovebirds, and Wang Qian and Li Kun probably had bought the electric heaters and would be at his shop soon.
"Please wait, I heard that you are a cat trainer. Can you show me how you train cats?" Jin Er stopped him, "I will pay you."
Zhang Zian knew that this person was very rich, but only put him off, "No. My skills are handed down from my ancestors for generations, and they are top secret in my family. I must not let anyone else know. I’m sorry."
What a pity! But Jin Er never forced others to do something they didn’t want to do, so then he resorted to his second-best alternative. "Then how about letting me see your cats? If they really can do stunts, I’m willing to buy one."
